So it enters again in the game for me.
The S24+ with the Qualcomm X75 modem provided by the snapdragon SOC is a great choice for those who weren't willing to swallow the squared corners of the ultra model.

Don't forget to Retweet and write #GalaxiAi in your tweets Why?
Unfortunately I had to ReAd this nonsense.
Spoiler alert Nope!
No speculation here in 2023 the entire S23 range was Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
Rewind and here's where this tweet is as accurate as the prodigious troll texter text.
In 2022 the three USA S22 models were. Snapdragons, S22 ULTRA/ PLUS/ vanilla
https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=11251&idPhone2=11252&idPhone3=11253
This is where those on X (who btw get income from retweets TRUE or knot mostly NOT) so called insider information just falls flat.
This Re edit/ resubmission an earlier fabricated tweeted nonsense (it may be true but as I wasn't at the meeting when Samsung provided this information to this tipster I don't believe I am wrong)
Seriously we know all S24 will get Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (Qualcomm CEO statement et al)
So now the S24 Plus is (NOT!) included that leaves Vanilla US, which HAS to be Snapdragon, ergo Vanilla ROW is the only one recieving Exynos 2400 i.e one sixth of all S24 Exynos 2400....Easier to go the whole S23 route
The Geekbench 6 score in the other article are most likely fake, that article links multiple rumours" oddly only coming to light AFTER Exynos 2400 architecture has been released on 01/01/24.
Samsung already know Geekbench 6 score for both SoC shipping plans would NOT be provided to tipster (FYI if not known ALL manufacturers can run Geekbench privately)
IDK what the GB6 scores are for either. My takeaway is this if the part where "Exynos 2400 is closing the Gap on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3" is true then S24 shipments will be as S22 with the exception of the Ultra

Any day SD is better than EXYNOS, as a former s20+ (Exynos 990) I can confirm in day 2 day usage I faced no issues, phone worked fluently in 120hz 1080p. the processor showed its limitation in standby drain and gaming only. But the bigger issue is Screen line problems which happened S20, s21 an s22 models either the display has serious quality issues or it is done by companies to increase sales

This kind of chipset disparity is quite infuriating to me. In the Indian subcontinent, Samsung already marks up the proces of each flagship model by a considerable margin and they are also providing inferior chipsets with that?! I am sure a lot of people will buy the S23 series this year to save cost and get an actually good device for the money.

If indeed the vanilla version will be stuck with the Exynos chip, lower the purchase price to soften the blow then...

Qualcomm holds a lot of patents, especially patents related to cellular technology used by US carriers. As such. using Qualcomm modem for US market is almost a necessity. Thus it wouldn’t surprise me that the deal Qualcomm has with Samsung is also to force Snapdragon for US bound Galaxy S. If Samsung had its way, they would prefer using Exynos in all markets due to the cost savings.

Qual... moreYou're ignoring the fact that the Tensor chips inside Google Pixels have a Samsung 5G modem that works without a problem in the US. So Samsung doesn't necessarily have to use a Qualcomm modem for its phones sold in the US. No Exynos chipsets for North American markets is highly suspicious.

General consumer doesn’t care about the SoC, and Samsung has enough brand equity for people to keep buying. Only us in tech forums concern about the SoC.
If Qualcomm chip means better sales, why does Samsung decide to put Exynos in the S24 then? It’s all about cost and volume/yield.

EU should get Exynos, otherwise price difference between Plus and Base will be huge.
I am all in for Exynos worldwide when Samsung make it on par with SD. Better for competition, lower price.

Weird move if true. I haven't seen a single person using s23+. It was either vanilla s23 or ultra. Those who want compact will go for s23 and those who didn't care about size could easily afford the ultra.
Maybe the margins of vanilla versions were low and they are pushing people to plus/ ultra but I think this will backfire spectacularly.

Most doesn't mean all. I wonder which countries don't have, but only Exynos haters would care.
