05 January 2024
The technology will likely make foldable displays more durable.

I'm still not sold on foldables, I'd rather buy a tablet.

I thought I read Iron Man Tech then 😅

Samsung Iron Super Suit coming soon.

What hinge. It is the metal being the actual flexible screen to reduce the crease / slightly increase durability

justasmile, 05 Jan 2024Samsung is kinda getting complacent tbh. See their Z fold 5... moreI agree wholeheartedly. My foldable predictions are:

Nothing teases or mentions a foldable with Glyph UI and SD8G3. 990-1300USD
OnePlus announces/releases Open 2 with SD8G3 with Lytia. Around 15/1600 USD
Samsung makes Z Fold6 and same as usual but has Exynos 2400. Same price - 1800USD.
Honor announces Magic V3 with 8G3 with 12/16 RAM and hopefully lower price - 1030EUR.
Huawei releases Mate6 with a suped up Kirin chipset and LTPO OLED. Idk a price

apparently, if you refer to 'samsung' as 's c a m m y', they either delete your comment, or hold it for review for an indefinite amount of time.

UTG or paper thin glass is still garbage if the said Ironflex will be same not even close to real GG Victus and above its garbage.
Just like with UTG compared to original fold from 5 years ago its still something anyone can scratch by nail and damage for good.

Hinges on fodables are already very durable, folding screens however are not.

Start there Samsung and all other foldable manufacturers.

They can call it whatever they want. Anyone buying a phone with a plastic screen has the intelligence of a jellyfish.

If I need a big screen I'd buy myself a tablet. Flip or Fold phones are not durable in the long run. See for example the flip 3

So they hired Tony Stark to upgrade their hardware? Might as well implement some nano tech while we are at it.

samsung just improve the cameras, add better multitasking functionality and lower the price💪
