As you'd expect, it's anything but slim. Or light.

Basically, this is a powerbank with a built-in phone and a somewhat large speaker... I wonder why would anyone buy this instead of separate devices (a decent phone, a decent BT speaker and a power bank), the choice of separate devices is much wider for each purpose.

RTamas, 06 Jan 2024Yes, also each pixel deteriorate differently depending on t... moreI've used Samsung Galaxy S7 for 4-5 years (old OLED screen) and it was absolutely fine, no "spots" or anything. If I went looking for it, I could find a slightly darker area at the top where browser tabs would be, since I used browser A LOT and browser didn't use dark theme (there was no such option back then). But it was never visible under normal conditions. So I think OLED is fine in phones as long as you use it for 1-2 hours a day.

IPS black is very early in the life cycle and the results don't look too promising so far: only 27 inch size with 120hz refresh rate, 60hz models have more sizes, but still offer only slightly better contrast ratio (darker blacks), but backlight bleed remains a problem. The rest is just marketing (in other words: BS).

Mobilemaster, 06 Jan 2024This is too heavy and too big already!I mean

For the intended customers these are people in construction... Already carrying around heavy hammers and tool kits

Hikers that are already packing heavy bag packs

Campers.. that are even carrying 10 -30 pound portable power stations

This phone is lighter than some walkie talkie s or satellite phones soooo the weight checks out good

Now if your a tik tok PHD veteran black belt MMA basketball president communist world champion then this is heavy

I doubt battery life will be any good with such a huge battery coz essentially the manufacturer won't bother to optimize coz of the huge battery

Why is there no middle ground? Sure 5000mAh is a good start for any high end phone, but why not give phone 10.000 mAh (it's so funny we still talk in milliamp hours when 10 Ah would be much easier lol).

Anyway, I actually wouldn't mind slightly thicker phone if it had 10 Ah battery. Like, S23 Ultra with 10Ah battery instead of 5Ah would still be a brick, just a slightly thicker brick. Thinness is basically not a thing anymore if I compare current phones to Huawei Ascend P7 that my mom still uses. That thing is like half of my S23 Ultra in thickness.
