Who says nubia doesn't support their devices, even my old RM7 has just got its Nov 2023 security patch just early January 2024. They've also added optimizations their for performance.

    Anyway said fan can be cleaned by good hoower. It will take out all fuss and mess.
    I for example using hoower for cleaning my laptop.

      My 16Gb Snowfall version arrived in Panama 2days to, and I'm using it right now to type this in fact.

      As a life-long OnePlus supporter who fell in love with my 12GB, Snapdragon 855+ One Plus 7T Pro McLaren, this was the right upgrade for me. Once you go notchless screen with no camera punch hole, you just CAN'T to back. If it wasn't for the end of life and updates stopping at Android 12, I would've continued using it as I even have a refurbished badkup McLaren in my desk drawer in case something went wrong with my daily driver. LOVE that phone. I cloned my OP7T Pro to a OnePlus 10 Pro, and well...it just was NOT exciting enough for me to switch even though it's 4 phones later!!

      I them saw an ad pop up about the Redmagic 9 Pro just befor Christmas, and I was intrigued. The under screen selfie camera kepty attention. So, 5hr cameras is not going to win any Photo contests...but quite frankly, WHO CARES. If you're a serious pic snapper, you'll buy a serious Camera is my view.

      I have a brush metal / silver Razer Blade 15, not because I am a pro gamer, but because I wanted a machine that can handle my work stuff, my graphics and video software and is just very decent. All metal chassis, I don't have to explain, they're in a league of their own.

      So, this Redmagic 9 Pro will fit in nicely, and incidemrally is the same color as my Razer Blade 15!!

      My ONLY complaint is this. I am a creature of habit, and so all my previous OnePlus's I could clone over within about 30mims with their proprietory phone clone software.

      It litterally copies EVERYTHING, including all settings and app data, so once done, you have a literal mirror image of your previous phone, including the screen layout...folders, EVERYTHING and that's great.

      When I got my RedMagic I wanted to do something similar, but having tried 20 different supposed "phone clone" or "phone switch" app it's took me hours and hours to get the new phone looking the same as my OnePlus 7T.

      I even tried using the OnePlus clone app, but it refused 5o gone me the "Old Phone / New Phone" options to select l, which I guess is to be expected as they probably designed the software to keep it within the OP / OPPO / Realme family.

      Pity, as it's a great and very effective app and I have not seen any generic Android app that some actually CLONE. Most of they copy stuff over at best.

      But, a whole night of tinkering and restarting the one app that did SOME of the cloning but kept crashing after a while, my phone is sorted.

      Obviously it's not reflection on the phone, not in the least, it's just how I like to do things and how I can gently retire my OnePlus haha.

      This new phone is INSANE, it might take a little getting used to, but I can't personally fault ANYTHING thus far. It's SICK fast and snappy, not that I had any complains with my old McLaren, but this is obviously THAT much faster and smoother.

      Some my older old school Android apps don't want to run 9n Android 14...old Angry Birds space, Angry Birds StarWars, Angry Birds seasons and also Rio...so, a pity.

      I can't get VMOS to run properly on Android 14, so I can't use those older games in a virtual machine and run on Android 9 either.

      Anyway, that's not Redmagic issuex but rather Android backwards compatability issue.

      Other than that, MAN what a great phone! #1 Antutu rankings...just a MONSTER of a phone, I am VERY HAPPY!

          With its powerfull hardware and very powerfull cooling fans this phone can last for a very long time running litterary everything.
          OS updates or security patches or not.
          3-5 even 10 years old samsung phones still working and have no more updates.
          For example A7 2017. My old Lenovo Vibeshot i once gave to my friend when i bough new phone still perfectly working and is 9 years old. My old Motorola X4 from 2017 also perfectly working. Daughter of my best neighbours got it when she finnished basic school as a gift. That phone is now 7 years old and still having zero issues with apps.
          Wat you want or ask for does not matter much.

          Said specs of Nubia red magic 9 pro will run any app or game for a very long time for as long as the phone will keep working without any issues at all.

              If a customer came for repair with a custom rom we would send him away his warranty been broken becaue of custom rom thus he is not eglibe for a warranty repair no matter the brand. And we sell like 50 brands in our stores.

                Before buying I need to either see a teardown video, an x-ray scan or a sound quality demo from GSMArena.

                    Any phone regardless of a brand once you install custom rom your warranty is done for.
                    Only a very stupid person would do that.
                    Breaks a warranty on a 800-1000 eur device.

                                      With said specs this phone will get as much app updates as you can name it for many years.
                                      Its hardware is capable to run everything without any issues for next 5-10 years.
                                      Time proven that old phones long time past last update still perfectly working for what they need to.
                                      Know several people with something old as Z1 compact, S3 mini, S4 or S5 samsung, Lenovo A7010, Lenovo X3, even my now 9 years old Lenovo Vibeshot is still perfectly working. Once i had to swap my battery apart from that had zero issues with that phone.
