S4 / S3 does not just lag in launcher, it lags in browsing/gaming/social apps.
And who to blame? .. No not samsung. Its the damn lazy google, who just keep quiet, add lousy lame features, patch with "proj butter" which did not even solve the lag issue. Having to use such massive battery and fast cpu.. just to lag?? What crap android google has become.

At least Snapdragon 800 supports OpenGL ES 3.0 while Exynos 5 doesn't.
And not just that. Snapdragons are nicer to the devs, they trend to provide proper documents support.

just damn too big for me. to be honest 4.5in screen is big already. and this is 6in. how am i suppose to use this giant. even s4 sucks because its too big to feel

My GS3 have 2GB Ram and dual core 1.5 snapdragen and still runs so slow why is that, why iPhone runs so smooth and all games runs so smooth and fast. I was playing NFS racing game on GS3 frezz and slow. 90% games runs slow on android phones.

Running AOSP or even disabling features and running Nova launcher smooths things out significantly. When the S3 gets updated with some of the new S4 touchwiz features, it'll also get laggier. If the S4 had the S3's touchwiz, it would have no lag at all.

the 8Core SGS4 has 4 cores clocked at 1.2ghz and 4 cores clocked at 1.6GHz this isnt speed really and you never want to use the 8 cores in a cellphone its impossible!

I am useing a note 2 for my daily work. All I need from note 3 is a powerful battery. The 13mp camera is a nice touch as well. It all comes down to the mAh of the battery which can run for two days and gives the user a chance to do his or her work without running to a battery charger every 3 hours.

This is from a Samsung user website - "Most" of the users. Interesting really.
But I'm sure this is a once off isolated incident.
As they're powered by Octal Processors, so it can't be true.
