6.82" screen? This is getting ridiculous, and I thought the 6.74" of the Find X6 was the biggest they are going to be. They ruined phones like they ruined lots of things....
I miss the 6.4"/ 6.5" / 6.6" phones, only Samsung makes them :(

Iphone 6s+ and Sony Z4 were bashed by read... moreOnly readers bash them. In actual use it doesn't matter.
Case in point :
S20 Ultra and Note20 Ultra, everyone used 1080p for 120hz.
Resolution is not important on a phone after hitting FHD+, I'm not talking about FHD, but FHD+, that is 1260p or something.

A small mistake - I don't think the vanilla Find X7 is equipped with wireless charging, why don't u check the spec sheet carefully? @Yordan.

jiyen235, 08 Jan 2024Oneplus's camera hardware advantage is rendered moot b... moreThe type of motor was stated by the Chinese reviewers. I don't care much about this myself but they've said it's the cheaper type of motor being used. The screen is not being shared by the Vivo x100 pro. Vivo is using mixed screens from BOE and Visonox so there will be differences depending on which one you get. The screens on the find x7 ultra is shared with the Oneplus 12 and the screen on the find x7 is shared with the Realme gt5 pro. These are all BOE's best screens with the latest tech and it's basically just the resolution that differs. For me the 1.5k one is also enough but it's obviously a little worse than a 2k one. It was announced at launch and numerous times on Weibo that Oneplus 12 is using the same the same algorithym as the find x series. It has been officially stated that the exact same camera team optimising the find x series is optimising the oneplus 12 this time (they didn't in the past). Of course there will still be a difference especially since the ISP in the Dimensity 9300 is difference from the ISP in the Snapdragon 8 gen 3. Personally I'd probably go for the Find x7 as it's a bit lighter due to the smaller battery but objectively, the Oneplus 12 does have the better hardware overall

It was also announced at the launch that the Oneplus is using the Find x algorithm and the optimisation of the Oneplus cameras has been performed by the same team resonsible for the Find x7 series camera optimisation. They are also using the same software. Oneplus also has the better screen. These differences may not matter to many but the hardware is better. You can argue whether or not the dimensity is better (as in some areas it outperforms the snapdragon but it loses in other areas) but most customers, at least Chinese consumers will prefer the snapdragon chip. That's why they put the snapdragon in the find x7 ultra.

Iphone 6s+ and Sony Z4 were bashed by readers here for being FHD while S6 was QHD.
Now phones have screens almost 2x larger, but ppl claim 2320x1080 is enough to justify why some phones still dont have QHD/4K ..

The better screen isn't THAT different, we're talking a 2-5% improvement at best considering that the X100 Pro's screen (which I think is shared with this phone) gets brighter than an S23U. FHD+ is more than enough for a 6.8 inch phone, for 12 inch phones and beyond QHD *might* be needed. The most crucial advantages are the USB 3.2 and the better motor. People can live with USB 2.0, kind of. But how is the motor better? Like did you check it out or are you talking about it based on Oppo and Oneplus's track record?

Isn't this telephoto cam a downgrade compared to the one on the Find X6? 1/2" vs 1/1.56".
The UW cam was a downgrade for the Find X6 compared to the Find X5, Oppo's just jumping from one thing to another. Honestly apart from the chip and maybe the main cam I don't think this is an upgrade from the Find X6 unless the new ISP is able to perform magic ofc. This was kind of a dumb move from Oppo, the Find X6 was the hidden gem of last year and now they've kinda lost it. The jump from 1/2" to 1/1.56" isn't small and considering the Find X6 Pro's zoom was loved by nearly everyone, it's a damn shame. The X100 Pro is amazing cus of its Zeiss partnership and 4.3X zoom, but this is only 3x. Pretty weird stuff from Oppo honestly. The Samsung JN1 is kind of a bummer to have in flagship phones but good in flagship killers such as the OP 12. Wish at least the Find X7 had 5400 Mah of battery but even that isn't the case. Oppo's lineup is a tad weird this time considering that even the Ultra doesn't have that much battery and the new periscope on that phone is smaller than this phone's periscope, granted it's a longer range zoom but still, kinda weird.
This phone doesn't seem like it's worth the hassle to import, unlike the absolute gem that was the Find X6, unless this phone's price is on par with the Oneplus 12 if not less. Not holding my breath though.
