Officially, there is no confirmation yet from Honor if the Honor X9a will be getting the Android 14 update. However, considering that the phone is a relatively recent model, it is likely that it will be included in the list of devices eligible for the update.
Honor has announced their new MagicOS 8.0 operating system based on Android 14, but they haven't released a specific rollout schedule yet.

Honor’s policy includes two major Android updates and four years of security updates. With Android 14 ready to roll out later this year, this means the X9a will not see Android 15 running on it in 2024.
At least the security updates will keep you safe until 2026 at the bare minimum, by which time you would most probably change your smartphone.

The update for magic4 pro is not in january 2024 may be in 2025. They are slow in updates, they said something and do something else. I regret that I bought this phone. This is the last Honor device.

I wish they would allow us to disable Material You or at least choose the default color scene. My Google apps now have brown tinge to the backgrounds and buttons just because I have a red wallpaper 🙄
