That gaming console or screen gets obsollete once you get a car which dont need to spend 2-4 hours at petrol station to charge the battery.
If you battery gets topped from zero to full in like 10 minutes you wont have time to play games on that screen.
NIO already demoed and start installing chargers which can top up your car battery within fraction of time if its supporteed by car.
Thats was the point you did not understand for reasons which only you know.

This should just be illegal. It is so obviously an invitation to dangerous behavior and distraction. BMW better start preparing for the lawsuits when someone gets killed because of this.

I first scoffed at it, but it could be a neat feature if they don't try to milk it too much.
Still, I want BMW to focus on being "The Ultimate Driving Machine." That's what'll make me lust after a car.

But if your car can be topped in 10 minutes from flat to full gaming console in car gets obsollete there is llitterary zero game which can be played within 10 minutes.

Last thing I want is being called out for being an unsafe driver when I ask them if they want a round of games in a heavy traffic jam. I don't understand the addition of this feature, has the company started trying to push everything that exists into a car??

if I am on a long trip and need to take a break, first thing I need is to rest my eyes and stretch my legs. maybe grab a coffee and take some air with my passengers. keep in a seated position in car during break is not good for your health.

Article title is BMW i5. As far as i know i series for BMW is either hybrid or electric.
You get mad over a comment cause your to much in your fantasy and everything gets out of context.
It's not really a common thing to have screen in normal cars or screens that support gaming. Android and IOS in a car is not so old thing to talk about it like it's so common thing.
One of my friends have 3 series BMW with a screen but that dont even have rear view camera function and the car is like 12 years old

Have you never had to wait for someone in your car? Today I was waiting in my car 45 minutes for my wife. Such features are for situations like this.
Btw., BMW have been offering Apps long before iOS and Android. They have been even offering own SDK to 3rd parties. In the year the first iPhone launched you could already use the App Google local search in your BMWs.
The iDrive system (yes Apple really copied the naming from BMW) is much more powerful and complex than Android Auto or Apple Car.

I would ask are you driving or you play games ? It's the part of the electric cars i dont like with there large screens in them that are for all other reasons then actually driving the car.
