I pre ordered a nothing phone 2, what did I get for my loyalty?
Headphone? A case? A screen protector? No I got a tote bag, thanks nothing.
I root my phone and wrote a guide on xda for others to do the same, providing boot images etc.
One day I ended up in crash dump mode trying to fix the inability to update, couldn't fix it without the EDL cable, so ended up sending it via RMA to nothing.
I am base in England and Noting Is apparently a London based company, yet I was made to wait 2 weeks and 3 days, comparing this to Sony (3 days) OnePlus 5 (5 days) OnePlus 8 pro (5 days) OnePlus 10 pro ( 6 days) I find this unacceptable.
Especially when for some reason, India has an upcoming 300 service centers you can visit and the UK has a grand total of zero!
Yep let that sink it a moment, a UK company is better serviced in India.
I love the phone and it's style, I also own the ear buds 2 which are great but omg they need to fix their home after sales because it's worse than any other company I've ever used for RMA.

I had phone with dolby vision, and my current phone is without it ( both amoled ), and first one with that have much pleasant screen, and it was much easier for the eyes. Maybe also cause my current Samsung have low pwm rating. On top Samsung is just 240 pwm which is unacceptable.

You're also paying the higher price for the overall experience too, though.

Stands to reason that defective products would be sold via them. And iirc the thread did detail a couple of Euro customers with similar issues, but were replaced under warranty.

Another guy from our village bought a Mahindra tractor , it had shift pattern engraved on plastic
So everyone naturally assumed it'll fade away in no time . But in 8 years the Mahindra plastic end corroded and fell off the stick . But the printed shift pattern didn't even fade a little in 18 years of the tractors lifespan with us . So don't go by spec or what you see
