"Looking at the official patch notes, we can see that Samsung squashed one critical security issue and a whopping 67 other ones labeled as "High" priority by the Korean giant."
And next year they will fix 200 security issues.
    🤨🤨🤨

BangBang, 15 Jan 2024Sorry, but in indonesia, the screen is not under warranty, ... moreAh, yeah that's the same as we have. And if you didn't have the care+ subscription from the start, you aren't covered anyways.

BangBang, 15 Jan 2024It was excellent ram management while it still OneUI 5.1 a1... moreWell everything must ruin one day.
It should not be that bad if their phones will come as stock android and whole UI and all Samsung apps will be as optionable.
But what i dislike most on a phone regardless of a brand they in first time setup forces you to install even things you dont want or dont plan to use.
Its not only about samsung there is lot more culprit brands.
But among all of them most apps on backround runs on a Samsung device honestly.

Anonymous, 14 Jan 2024such as google-clock isnt preinstalled by default so why ... moreYes google clocks is a defalut so why user needs to ahve samsung clocks too.
Chrome is also by defalut so why to have samsung brownser.
I cann continue as long as there will be 2 same apps one by google usually by defalut and one from Samsung.
List will go to like 20+ apps.
I am not saying Samsung is all bad some users like Samsung apps over google apps but when you run first time setup Samsung will force you to install all samsung apps unless you say no. Some inexperienced people which is a majority of users will install everything phone offers them as a mandatory app in other words something they must have just like the Candy Crush Saga.
          Rest been said.
If you ask anyone here or founders and writers to this site they will confirm you the same.

If it was on my responsibility all phones regardless of a brand should run as a stock android with just base minimum of icons to have clearest smoothers zero or close to zero bloatware experience and all UIs and brand apps should be just an optionable for example in said first time setup but you must tick or check to install them they will not be installed on their own as a mandatory app. But will or can pop up as an optionable,

Right here right now every Nokia, Motorola, Google and some other brands with stock android and with just 4GB ram are equally fast or even faster than Samsung with twice as much. Same stands for all other brands with their UIs.
But among all major brands Samsung is worst in ram management because it runs most apps on backround and forces user to have everything even he she dont want or not like. many apps you can only disable but not remove from disk space for good.

so why u think samsung need to use all google apps ?

and explain more what make samsung ram & disk space management garbage?
how other phone can have different ram & diskspace management ?

afaik those are android core system

Well there is Samsung brownser a blue planet like icon.
There are google and samsung clocks if you runs all apps from settings you can clearly see amiong system apps there are 2 same things from google and samsung. Many apps is there dong same but one from google other from samsung. Just like the Samsung App galery and google play.
About xiaomi yes there is some bloatware but you you run for example battery saver app or system management app in case of samsung phone there is like 150 apps running on backround in case of xiaomi is like 100 and in case of Motorola is like 50.
In other words samsung is worst. Exactly specced phone from said 3 companies will ron smoothest in Motorola less smooth in Xiaomi and as GSMArena people said and many other users confirmed low specced Samsung phones uses something like GO Edition of Samsung skin because Samsung ram and disk space management is garbage.

Cpt.Power, 14 Jan 2024Well friend you have a point but still its not for me. On... moreI disable or uninstalled my Google apps that I don't use on my Samsung phones. I have only 1 app for each category now on my phone (some are Google ones, others are Samsung ones). I don't have any 2 apps that do the same thing.
It doesn't take much time and after you disable/uninstalled them you can use only 1 app for each category.
I mean people complain about Samsung extra apps, but they are ok with Xiaomi ads, lol. Is the same thing in the end, and you can get rid of them in 15 minutes.

Also, there aren't 20 double apps let's say, that come preinstalled on Samsung phones. There isn't any Samsung browser (there is only Chrome), there is no Google Calendar (there is only Samsung calendar), there is no Google calculator (there is only Samsung calculator), there are 2 Files apps (but you can disable Google's one), there are 2 messages apps (but you can disable Google's one), there are 2 cloud solutions (Google drive and One Drive and you can disable both). I disabled Gmail (I use Zoho Mail), I disabled Google Meet and Bixby (but anyway I don't use either Google Assistant). Others I could just uninstalled them.

I don't know why you say about Samsung bloatware. Xiaomi phones (even the flagship ones) have equal amount of bloatware preinstalled. You can also disable or uninstall many of them. Is just some extra 15 minutes work maybe.

In my experience I found less bloatware on OnePlus phones for example.

Anyway, is not like this should be a turn off in not buying Samsung phones.

Anonymous, 14 Jan 2024But Samsung fans been saying Oneui is bug-free, so how come... moreI never heard Samsung fans or even Apple fans saying their software is bug free. Is software, so no software is bug free.
The good part is that they are fixing things. When I hear about Samsung or Apple software updates being frequent, for me is not a minus, for me it means that those software engineers at Samsung and Apple do their jobs. Maybe 75% of the software engineer job is to take care of the software after its release, not to make the perfect bug free software (that is utopic, lol).
Whoever has an idea about IT or works in IT job, knows what I am talking about.
So please stop saying that frequent software updates means that those phones are bad in software. Is quite the opposite and it means those software people take care of those phones after you buy them.
