The Oppo phone has 4500 nits of peak brightness, I don't think there is any more needed, actually I think anything above 2000 nits is completely pointless.

First just get your point straight. Curved display is more expensive than its identical flat counterpart. However Samsung uses a different panel m13 with more peak brightness and better hdr so it doesn't mean this flat display is less expensive emsive than the earlier curved one.

                          There are plenty of other flagship phones with curved LTPO displays that are cheaper, sometimes a lot cheaper than this will be. Clearly showing that a flat display should be even cheaper, they just don't want to do it, because people will buy it anyways.

Samsung uses M13 panel which is different so you can't say that price should be lowered. And just the change from curved to flat shouldnt be significant enough to bring a noticeable decrease in price in all regions

                                Always flat screen is better that's why apple giving so far from long time flat screen because it is good we can attach glass of front easier and longer time with good protection and back case cover is also safety for upto the bezels of screen and it's titanium frame that means more tougher than aluminum..

                                Other way if someone looking for curved screen then go-to Oppo find x7 ultra it's a beast camera phone and with good spec's Dolby vision and HDR 10 plus display and same this phone can records Dolby vision HDR 10 plus videos.

You can't just introduce a complete change of material without years of research and preparation. They have been working on it for years. It's not possible to design one phone that will appeal to everyone. That's just not gonna happen. For me, curved display is unwanted. I can use it but it's not what I'm used to. Other than that it's not such a bad thing. And yea, flat screen on S24 ultra was a better decision undoubtedly
