Interesting from Realme, good step, let's me see how looks this famous Note series and hope it will be as competitive or more than Redmi Note series

Looks to me like they spent zilch and just went in blindly with the Note name in the most basic Chinese smartphone iteration you can imagine - no pen, no bigger screen, no extra office functions. Just a name with no connotation to what it actually meant originally, in hopes that suckers don't not(e)ice.

        Like their number series is the one to complete redmi note series?
        And I think those are some old phones and hardware which they want to sell it off.

          Specs are going to decide it's price, that's just naming.

            What makes it a "Note" since it doesn't have a bigger screen?

              Not sure why these companies think this is necessary. What exactly is NOTEworthy about this device?

                        Someone over at realme is going to get fired for revealing the specs and release date to someone else, it seems..

                        Oh well.. once this gets released, some people are going to be confused on whether to get REDMI note series, or REALME note series. Name difference, yet similar pronunciation. Only difference is -d and -eal, but not that it matters either way.

It's not a pro model but a standard model so why compare with pro/pro+/VIP models from other brands? It all depends on pricing. If the launch price is the same as the two products they are comparing against then it is clearly offering better specifications. Everything depends on pricing and product positioning. All product launches in China do this. They compare with products in the same category in their launches. It's a very common practice that happens at basically every launch event in China.

                                        Oh how original, never seen that before.. the Mi Note 10 series must've just been a dream.

                                        That comparison is one of the worst I've ever seen, if the Realme Note 1 is really going to come with a Dimensity 7050, then they should've compared it with the Infinix Note 30 VIP, but of course not because then it would've lost to the Dimensity 8050. Same goes for the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ with it's Dimensity 7200.
