No tech, algorithm or proper camera chip will replace the artistic sense it needs to take a great photo. You can take extremely boring macro and tele-shots with expensive camera tech, and a great artist can take incredible shots with an old Polaroid from the 1970s. All these elitist talking points are quite pathetic imho.

I remember people talking the same way about DSLR cameras when they started to pop up for the mass market. Time is a flat circle.

The reason why phone cameras and cameras from 2000-2010 can take very similar quality shots is because that type of photography is extremely easy to satisfy and accomplish. Its 28mm - 35ishmm shots, shots with no depth of field, and shots definitely not cropped. Ironically though, CCD sensors from back then still look better than current camera algorithms LOL
      Phone cameras will never be able to aesthetically portray a long telephoto of a bird in flight, or a 1:1 macro of an insect. Or take a portrait that doesn't look like a robot blurred everything around it without consideration for the differing distances and out of focus elements.
      That's why I always laugh at people that throw money away on a "nice" camera phone, only to take the most boring, pedestrian shots imaginable. Camera specs, particularly for certain ethnic groups, becomes more of a bragging tool to tell your friends, not something that is actually utilized.

Go tell aborigines in Australia what year is or to someone in Africa poor countries where people live in mud huts that it's 2024 and it's special for technology somehow.

          Like seriously ask any professional photographer what they think about mobile phones cameras. They all take it like tourist toys that they wont ever use for making pictures

            I actually like the camera design. I hope that they made the lens adapter mount integrated to the design of the phone and should be able to fit lens cover and filters without the camera kit. There are lots of filters like ND and polarized that can make the image the way we want them to be.

You put filters on objectives and even with the best ones you always loose some resolution. They can safe time otherwise spent in digital post processing of the image and add fun. Some examples: a diffusion filter lowers contrast for a more cinematic look. ND neutral density filters (=grey piece of glass) make longer shutter times possible. A polarized filter reduces the glare of sunlight by cutting out some frequencies. If you want to take pictures of the ocean and not the reflection of the sun on it's surface or catch the water color of a river, you'll need those. The adapter ring is for 67mm filters, the lens cap can be called a (protection) filter.

I was interested only on the rings as i do understand what the kit is that attach to the phone that also have the take picture button on it and also give better grip on the phone.

                                On these pictures of this article these rings just seem like these dont have any filter or glass on them and to set a larger objective on the phone is that i would think one camera be in the most center so you can have these larger objectives that have shutter in them and other features like optical zoom and so on but to get this work i dont understand on the 4 camera dots like 4 corners while circle dont have corners but i hope you get what i mean by it

These lo... moreTwo rings are provided, one pictured on the right is a lens cap the other pictured on the left is an adapter for attaching filters. The ring in the middle is a filter but that's not included in the kit and serves as an example. With the lens cap on: quality of the pictures can be better or worse that's depends on the person taking them. With the adapter: I guess macroshots will be a little bit sharper.
