Prices have changed here and there compared to the S23 family, but not by any substantial amounts.

S23 Ultra price regularly drops below 800€ on sale and is generally between 900-950€.
iPhone 15 Pro is always above 1000€ while Pro Max (the real competitor for S Ultra) is always above 1200€.

    That's absolutely not true. Galaxy S phones are expensive as hell in Germany.
    I think you mean the prices with a contract. But if you really buy this phone, even the iPhone is much cheaper in Germany.

In the USA, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is cheaper than the Xperia 1 Mk5 with matching 256GB internal storage. However, here in Malaysia, it's the other way around. In fact, the Xperia 5 Mk5 over here is a whole MYR 1,000 (~ $215) less than the iPhone 15 Pro with matching 256GB internal storage. FYI, we never received 128GB internal storage for the Xperia 5.

          Same old 1000% storage markups. Guess I'm skipping this Gen. The storage is gonna run out far before the phone stops getting updated.

I don't buy when the new phones come out because prices drop fast after the first month or two and then S Ultra is always cheaper than the competition at least in Germany..
                        I'm waiting for reviews and comparisons to drop before deciding. All companies have great offerings this year so you can't really go wrong.
