Samsung India customer support is utter rubbish. If pre order call is held for more than one hour I'm afraid of the post sales support. I am already looking elsewhere for my next mobile.

The s24 base and the plus models have exynos . Samsung is already fighting a rapidly losing battle against apple and this stupid exynos move will ensure that samsung continues to lose its ground. The s23 will be a better buy instead of the base and the plus models of the s24 series. No matter what samsung and youtubers say if the exynos was actually comparable to the Snapdragon 8gen 3 samsung would have put its in house product in the Ultra as well .

I am not saying Samsung could be lying, but at least we have clear proof of Apple doing good software updates in past (even 6 years of OS updates and 7 of security ones). We didn't see anything as good yet from Samsung or Google, just promises.
Also, there is the problem with timing software updates. Samsung is always 3-6 months late to update their flagship phones (depending on the model), after Google is releasing latest OS. In this regard Pixels and iPhones have advantage, because they receive the update from day 1 let's say.

In Czechia the S24U cost the same as the iPhone 15 Pro Max (for base models). 1450EUR.
The good part (let's say), is that Samsung phones tend to come down in price more rapidly.
Still, both are very expensive phones.

U can buy a ps5 , a proper camera, or a laptop even and a mid range smartphone (with fm) for the price of s24 ultra.never makes sense in india. Not that indians are poor but is there a actual need for this? They are giving out an image that price has inflated but in relatiy they just want more profit.

For an S23 Ultra user it's not worthy to upgrade, I don't see an upgrade anyway considering that my phone is getting AI features as well.
