Haha, This is Samsung’s feature.
We don’t want any stupid feature, better you stop spying our activities. If you want spying data then use your own employees data including Google’s CEO.
Harmony os really better than you.

Wrong! It's all done on the device.
Google haters will say anything to discredit everything they do.

I still hate that Google removed the text highlighting feature on the recents view after A12. That was actually very useful to me.

Wait, I was just telling someone that this is the only mildly interesting feature in S24U for me personally, LOL. I guess I might get a discounted S23U for my wife then. It's practically the same phone in every regard. Maybe the flat screen is the biggest new feature now? Damn, first Apple with the USB-C, and now this. I just hope they don't start going backward at some point... My OnePlus 7 Pro already looks way more futuristic than all of these new phones due to its gorgeous display with no notch/punch hole.

Does this use the NPU locally, or the cloud? If it's the later, then no reason for it to not work on any Android device.

There is app called fooview which does similar things for years except the gesture. Now these all become AI sugarcoated everywhere! 🥱

Huawei had a crippled/ consoomer version of this where you touch an object with 2 fingers and you get search results on where you could buy it online. 😭

Why does it have to be exclusive to the pixel and galaxy phones? It's not like it requires a high end phone when the processing is all done on the server side

Key Samsung S24 series feature will be in more phones in the near future. So, it is not a device thing but a software thing. Good luck Samsung with the S24 series.

Every phone running a14 should have this feature, but due to google greed, they will force you to get a new phone to run ai features that could run in budget phones just fine.
