The company tries to throw shade at Samsung’s new phones for some reason.

It shouldn't "lose" to a midranger in anything down the specs or a part they use. It's embarassing for Samsung at this point to continue such trend of recycling the same devices for generations now.

At least we'll get a more mid range offering with telephoto. Something missing in the market for a long time. Only pain point is that rumoured 8MP camera.

Well, it'll still produce worse quality photos overall thanks to the different chip.

Some bonus info: Just saw a post by OnePlus saying "12 > 24" 💀

at least we don't need to pay for "Ai" after sometimes

Realme is weird they are using flagship grade camera sensors

                But not upper midrange ISP

I mean it looks like it works for them in one of mkbhds older blind camera tests... Don't remember which year but the realme 10 pro + I think... Was high ranking by the viewers so I guess people like the camera quality

LOL. Typical BBK. Dial the marketing to 11.

Given the hands-on review of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ revealed disappointing camera performance, the Realme 12 Pro+ might be the one to get if the primary camera is important. The Realme 11 Pro+ certainly produced great photos. Pity the curved display ruined it.

This marketing is irrelevant. This 64MP camera only has 3x zoom, so at 100x the S24 Ultra will still be better. 120x is only better than 100x if the 100x on the 120x phone is better.

David 040882, 18 Jan 2024Something big doesn't mean better necessarily. In othe... moreThe price difference is gonna be huge. Realme will use a sensor that's larger than the 1300 dollar S24U have, that's a win in my book for consumers. Everyone is aware that larger or higher numbers don't mean much, but dont you think that a significantly more expensive device should offer more?

They should have provided Red Color ♥️ like IQOO Neo 9 Pro or Orange color like Realme GT5 Pro..

Blue color is a good color but their execution this time with this look doesn't appeal much.. Even their old Realme 11 Pro series white color variant was better than this 12 series white color variant.

Phone is great.. But processor Snapdragon 7s Gen2 seems at par with last 4 gen processors of Realme Number Series.. With Realme 9 series - Dimensity 920, 10 series - Renamed that same old processor Dimensity 1080, 11 Series - Another Renaming of same architecture Dimensity 7050 and now this 7s Gen 2 which is same architecture same performance..

Would be okay if they had provided Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 or Dimensity 7200.. better than this would have increased the prices.. But this much was possible.. They chose cheaper option with downgraded processor Snapdragon 7s Gen 2.

I also don't think they will provide IP rating and Victus protection like Redmi Note 13 pro plus.

This is the worst offering for the price until now. They can boast about the camera all they want but that CPU is horribleeeee for the money. Shame.

The Realme social media team definitely has a big mouth, but it takes more than that to sell a phone. And if you need to put others down in order to be "bigger" than them, that's an L on my book. I'll never support insecure companies like that.
