Samsung Galaxy S24 series goes on pre-order in Germany

There's always the Galaxy S23 FE if the S24 series proves too pricey.

Galaxy s24 &s24 do not support spen. That is unacceptable. Full stop. Better get a54 than those two.
And s24 ultra costs more than a54+s9 tablet so.... pointless to discuss that device too..

Bad way from Samsung, guess the idea was to be like apple again

CamoGeko-XDA, 22 Jan 2024You do have a point, actually 800 for 256gb isn't too ... moreYeah, also interested in Xiaomi's pricing. The Xiaomi 13 launched at 999 euro which was way too much in my opinion. There's a good chance that the Xiaomi 14 pricing will be the same but personally think it shouldn't be more than 899 euro. Brands like Nubia offer much better pricing in Europe

If I'm being honest though. The cheapest S24 model should match the cheapest Pixel 8 in price. Maybe it could be like 50 more due to OneUI having more features like Samsung Dex.

Around 800 euro for 256gb would be a reasonable price that would likely make it cheaper than other flagships like the Oneplus 12 and Xiaomi 14 when they launch in Europe. They'd most likely lose money if it cost 600 at launch and no manufacturer is going to launch at a price that would result in a loss.

However bad the new Exynos SoC turns out to be, S24 would still be way better than a Pixel.

What a weird news article. Preorders went live immediately after Unpacked event in all of Europe and most other countries globally. There is nothing special about Germany in this case.

How german customers can charge it? They only have charcoal in Germany…

S24 Ultra was mainly software updates.
S24+ and S24 have had the same camera technology 3 years in a row and only Exynos.

There is nothing too appealing to buy here.

Funny enough, the phone is already on sale in my country. Like, i can pick one up if i had the cash 😅

If you trade in a Chinese Android flagship in China like the Oppo Find x6 pro or Xiaomi 13 ultra in China officially when upgrading to another model from the same brand you usually can get a maximum of around 800rmb (about 100 euro) unless they had some sort of preservation of value scheme when you bought it . You have to sell your second hand phone privately to get any kind of a decent price and even then 6 months after purchase you'd be doing well to get half the purchase price (unless it's a Huawei 5g phone which are in short supply)

Personally I think the s23 ultra and s24 ultra are the best mobiles Sammy has ever bought out,but gosh them prices are ridiculous, personal opinion mindya, lovely phones,my son in law has the s23 ultra and feels and looks great 👍

Germany late? Scandinavia had it on pre-order right after presentation.
