Apple's 12.9-inch iPad Air appears in schematics, revealing design

I like the concept of a bigger screen iPad Air (Apple Pencil 2 support, TouchID, …) but can’t justify spending more than €300 on what is essentially a very advanced notepad. Instead of staying in this weird place between a big iPhone and a laptop replacement, Apple should own the strengths of the iPad for media consumption and digital annotations and release a much cheaper version in this size, basically an iPad 10 but with Apple Pencil 2 support and a 12.9 inch display for €300. I bet the most popular iPad sold today is still the iPad 9 simply because of the lower price and because it already has everything normal people need and care about.
