All, but Not Norway....
Actually, there is one shop that is selling it, but they don't give away any gifts.

And by the way, B&O headphones was just a lie.

Genuine question: for phones with these crazy fast charging speeds, is there any setting that limits the charging limit to x% to protect battery lifespan? Or do owners of such devices just charge their phone when they wake up

Anonymous, 23 Jan 2024You're absolutely wrong about the iPhone, mate The iP... moreI've not owned a single Apple product ever.

You are way over your head with your assumptions about what I think of iPhones in general. Here in Russia they have been perceived and sold as luxury devices. That's not too much different for a lot of markets including India, China, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, the entirety of South Africa and South America, etc. etc. etc. We are easily talking about 75% of the world population if not more.

Whereas in Android you can get a ton of content for "free" (by pirating/downloading it) iOS is made such a way it makes you buy everything which is not an option for billions of people. Apple makes devices for people who believe they are rich enough to afford them.

Maybe you're from a first-world country and $1000 is a pocket change for you but remember that the world works differently and OnePlus gained its success not the least because they used to cater to the vast majority of people in the world.

And lastly according to the BoM, Samsung enjoyed close to 60% margins on its SGS23 Ultra. Check: androidcentral . com/phones/heres-how-much-it-costs-samsung-to-make-the-galaxy-s23-ultra

That means OnePlus has decided to have comparable margins, IOW they don't care about frugal customers any more. They have become a brand for the rich/wealthy and their pricing proves that beyond reasonable doubt.

Too bad most other brands who sell premium phones offer much better support. Monthly updates, SGS24 comes with 7 years of guaranteed updates. And not only that ColorOS sold as OxygenOS is just horrible.

How many years of OS /Android and/or security updates on these two smartphones ? (12 and 12R) ??? ....

The iPhone is not a luxury product, so justifying it's price by saying that it's a luxury product is just bs. It's premium but not luxury, and also to let you know, all flagships today have overall same build quality, so idk where that "iPhone luxury" assumption came from.
Fyi the base iPhone is no match before Android flagships in the same price segment. It doesn't even have a high refresh rate display. So please, get your facts right before commenting

Coming to the OnePlus, the One you're talking about from 2014 was NOT a flagship phone. It just had a top end chipset. An average flagship from the same time was about €600 which accounting for inflation is still well below the €1200 mark of today, but phones today are not the same as back then. A lot of features didn't exist that time, that phones today pack. I'm not justifying the high prices that phones have reached today but just letting you know that there are way overpriced phones out there, selling in millions, and they still aren't considered to be overpriced, just because apple is good at psychological marketing, making buyers believe it's something extraordinary. And looking at you, it's aptly clear that it works, when you say that iPhone prices are totally okay because iPhone is "luxury" product

Pricing isn't competitive at all of the 12, you can get the same SD8 Gen3 for half the price from AliExpress. Redmi K70 Pro!

The 8MP ultrawide has been used on EVERY SINGLE MIDRANGE BBK PHONE besides the iQOO Neo 9 Pro and it's high time it toddled off with itself.

Why would I compare OnePlus to it when its first phone cost just 250 euros? And now the comparable device costs ... 1100 euros? A nice upgrade over the 10 years period.

No amount of inflation can jack up 250 to 1100, sorry. Only greed and "we are no longer a second fiddle, we wanna look like we are among the best".

Too bad Vivo X100 Pro runs circles around OP12 in terms of camera quality.

Well talking about price then no flagship today is affordable so when you complain, complain about all phones, iPhone including, which is most overpriced out there

Too late! More than 1 month from now to actually release.

they should remove 12gb 256gb option in 12r. Little over price as per the two rubbish 8mp and 2mp camera.

what a waste of time! flagship killer my A$$. 700€ ? actual flagships like s23 cost almost less. sure it might be slightly cheaper than iphone 15 or s24 but the price is still too high. conclusion= wait until 12r costs under 500€

Yeah OnePlus camera optimization isn't really that Great they are relying to hardware side rather then the optimization ..

12R similar specs to k70 but almost double the price

OnePlus can go f*** themselves with these new prices. They have totally settled.

The problem is the quality of their UI/ROM and update schedule are horrible, so people are advised to buy anything but OnePlus.

And they almost never fix any bugs. I posted almost three dozen a year ago. Only two of them have been fixed.
