            Half a year ago I was determined to try out the Magic V2. Since it's coming so late, not even the gold case is available and it has become so much more expensive, I'll skip it.

Country I live in has quite bad weather and has frequent rains and storms, of I drop it in a puddle in screwed. Plus I like to use my phone during my showers, IP ratings helps me decide if I can or not

                I'm crossing my fingers that the hinge on this one holds up better than it did on the Magic Vs... Can't quite wrap my head around that 400k folds claim they make – what sort of tests are they even running to come up with those numbers?My own hinge gave out just around the 8-month mark. Something inside just snapped and ended up cracking the internal screen. And would you believe it, Honor just brushed it off as 'non-customary use' before flipping the script and pinning it on me for supposedly tampering with the device. With this new release hot on the heels of the Magic Vs, I'm guessing they might've clocked the hinge issue and beefed it up a bit.

                    Its a phone not a submarine.
                    MNo phone in world is 100% water proof.
                    Said IP rating is nothing just a gimmick.
                    First company which includes water damage into a warranty of a device will say its worth to ave IPXX rating for said piece of mind.
                    Othervise is a no way to go. Once your phone ggets water damaged you have to pay very expensive repair and said IP rating is useless costly gimmick not worth to have.
                    Lastly any waterproof case from Wish or Alliexpress site for 2 bucks does more tricks and is more worth than said IP rating.
                    Litterary any phone can survive few raindrops from a poor rain and litterary noone is stupid enough to use his phone outside in a huge rain and storm.
