I really prefer more subtle designed phones, like the ones made by Sony, Samsung and Apple. They're not trying so hard to look and feel premium like this Realme, doing collabs with Rolex and such... feels like they're seeking so hard the "premium badge".

And I'll never respect brands that name their phone "Pro" , or even worse "Pro+", and put a Snapdragon 7 series chipset in it.

2 things disappointed me the most :-

      1st : Max storage is 256GB wherein I was expecting 512GB/1TB

      2nd : Charging speed reduced from 100W to 67W

I was planning & looking forward to buy this one but now scrapped my plan.

I'm not sure how circular camera bump can be seen as a nice design.
To each their own I guess.

I certainly prefer Samsung's and iPhone's camera design.
It's better to be safe and boring than to be adventurous and turned out disastrous.

Really like the design of the vivo X100(Pro), iQOO Neo9(Pro), Find X7(Ultra), OnePlus 12, and the nubia Z60 Ultra as well, just some examples.

I, for one, am tired of reading your constant complaining about how bland modern smartphone design is all the time. Thank goodness you liked this one—in blue, that is. I look forward to your positive input in the comment section in the future.

6oLsh0i6o0z3, 29 Jan 2024I don't see you whining about this one, huh? How many ... moreBy that logic, all smartphones are the same, and none of them are any nicer than the other ones. I like the design of it, and the cameras, but I did mention it in another article that the chipset is disappointing, both in the 12 Pro and 12 Pro+, so I'm not sure what's your issue.

              "..whining about this one.."

So having a different opinion than some people out there now counts as "whining"? Interesting, I must've missed that when that became a thing.

DarlingYext, 29 Jan 2024One thing is for sure, this phone is absolutely beautiful i... moreI don't think so.

This blue color is looking so ugly... even in new condition..

What will happen to this vegan leather after 6 months of use.. Then phone will look terribly ugly with this shade of color..

And it's not blue.. it's more of greyish than blue.. as seen in this article's thumbnail

Frankly I thought that the realme 12 pro+ was going to solve the ultra wide angle problem of the gt5 pro which I was not able to buy because of that and the use of a 7+ gen 2 would not have bothered me but it's really shameful when we see that the poco f5 at 300 euros has a 7+ gen 2 and frankly I would have preferred a simple telephoto lens and a much better ultra wide angle, frankly really disappointed with the realme brand that I like a lot especially since I really like the overlay of realme, oppo, oneplus (same) I wanted to give them a second chance with this realme 12 pro+ but now it's not working at all, might as well spend on a gt neo 5 which has a snapdragon 8 + gen 1 and an imx 890 and that damn 8 mpx ultra wide angle sensor

7s Gen 2 is alright. E1480 will be faster and 7200 is a better choice though.

One hell of an ugly phone. Like usual from that "market".

whyyyy, the phone was almost perfect and they had to add this ugly 8 mpx ultrawide camera and this weak chipset

Terrible CPU choice,I would probably buy this if it had at least a Dimensity 8020 or 8050, or a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, and even then, i would pay no more than 350 Euros, but at 450 euros with a decrepit CPU , they can keep it, X6Pro has the same price and is a better phone in my book.

The chipset is really bad, they could've given a 3x telephoto and a Dimensity 7200 and that'll do the job. Like the design tho

CamoGeko-XDA, 29 Jan 2024Ehh I'd still pick this over a Galaxy A34 for instance... moreYeah, me too. But wouldn't pick it over other phones competing with it
