Nik, 29 Jan 2024Just wondering how exactly do you use cylindrical display... Ask Samsung. They invent the curved screen, right? They should pursue it further ... My suggestion is targeted to Samsung. In case their reps listen in this forum. Looking for design advice. I hope they will take my advice and hi ope this will bring their screen business to bankrupt.

    I like the older pixels more(pixel9/9pro is not bad though)

      Tensor and Exynos are cousins.

      Need to compare the Exynos S24 with the Tensor G3.

        Slowly going back down to 6".. they never should have increased the size for the smaller model.. worst thing they ever did. Pixel 5 had it right.

                    Pixels battery life and screen aren't as good as Samsung. Their software seems to be not as well tested as Samsung too. These pixel phones have been a little disappointing.

                      Disappointed by the flat screen. Too much Apple copy cat. Google should show better innovation. For example, leveraring current curve screen to make a cylindrical screen.

                        Josh 2.0, 28 Jan 2024if there is no headphone jack then the world must join me i... moreI was also an advocate of keeping the 3.5mm connector on smartphones, but after getting used to using a wireless headset I see that it is no longer needed. If your wired headphone battery runs out, just use a small "3.5mm to USB" adapter. Since then I have never used a wired headset on a smartphone again.

                        I believe that even Sony will go back and remove the 3.5mm port (again) in a few years.

                                Kind of gutted about the flat design on the Pixel 9. It's their thing and feels way nice in the hand as a non case user. Do like my folds camera island though so I can appreciate that

                                  You know what would be great? If phones could lose some fat. The current Pixel phones needs to go on a diet. I want a Pixel 9 that is 7.8mm thick, not 8.8mm. It would really compliment the new sharp and flat design.

                                    I've been wanting them to use the camera visor from the Pixel Fold for the main series. Not that I'd ever buy a Pixel phone. Janky Samsung hardware and stock Android is barebones.

                                        The leaked dimensions of the Pixel 9 don't make sense.
                                        The 6.2" one is supposed to be bigger while having the same display size. Does that means that the bezels are gonna be bigger? Like they did when they went from Pixel 5 to 6?
                                        The 6.5" one is rumored to retain the same size despite having a smaller display, which points to thicker bezels once again.
                                        The current trend is very thin bezels, flat display and flat frame. Weird that Google is going against the thin bezels part.
                                        Are they gonna bring another short-lived and useless "innovation" like the thermometer and lidar?
