I don't know to be honest whether the snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is better or not but it is more expensive and Chinese consumers generally prefer it. I don't think they'd accept ultra pricing with the Dimensity 9300 processor. Also all the top flagships from the competition are using it (apart from Huawei who aren't allowed to)

Europeans can get the S24 Ultra for the same price so they'll just get that. Vivo are being completely unrealistic, if they want to take away some of Apples and Samsung's flagship dominance. They need to significantly undercut them.

This is why i dont like chinese mobile phone manufactors.. they announce new phone and you cant buy it in Europe next 4-6months :(
They are really good equiped but, look at Samsung they announce new phone and in less than 7days i can preorder it and actually can test in each shop in Serbia which is actually out of EU...
Chinese manufactors need to somehow deal with this.. this is not only vivo.. xiaomi announced 14 series back in november no sign of this phones hitting europe in any time soon

Probably they will change the naming to ultra this year also

1100 euros would've been perfect. That's because this is the 512 GB storage model, now THIS is a pro phone, Samsung creates "Ultra" phones and has 256 GB base storages. It's been way too long for companies to be sitting on 256 GB as their base storage, 512 should be the new standard, always touting "8K" "200 MP" yet if you take a thousand or so pics and a few hundred vids it'll be damn near full in the base model. It takes only 2 months for a hobbyist photographer to fill these phones.

You are paying for the cameras. Aparl from cameras and ip rating though it is worse than the Oneplus 12 in most other ways like screen, speakers and hapto motor for example so depends on whether people think the better rear cameras are worth the extra money. Oneplus 12's cameras are also pretty good though

the price is well deserved, problem is vivo's marketing in europe is nearly ZERO, where i am most haven't even heard of vivo so vivo is not very smart coming with these prices for an unknown brand in europe, they should lower the price by 200-300 euro and have a strong marketing otherwise most will prefer something like s24 ultra which is worst and more expensive. They should lower their profits for few years like huawei and xiaomi did so they can get traction otherwise people won't be tempted to pay this much for a no-name in europe.
Is easier to buy at this price x100 pro+ next month directly from china

It can be bought for about 800-850€ in Europe from China, but with Chinese OriginOS. I don't know if the Band20 is that important to make it +300€ pricier...
Rather wait and see if there'll be a vivo X100 Pro PLUS.
