As said, Apple made it look much better th... moreYou asked which one, I gave you tons of examples. Btw., the lockdown mode and also the new night mode with plugged into a power sourse are two other relevant (at least Apple thinks so) copied features.
Just because Apple copies a feature and just add a small own flavour to it, does not make it less a copy. Actually I had mentioned this in my original post. It is the way Apple sells copied features as own ideas. Samsung adds also own features to its own original functionality. And saying Apple did it better is very subjective.
In all cases, my original statement was and is correct: almost all new "big innovations" from Apple in recent years already existed in Samsung devices.

If this feature saves life in real life then it must be necessary in every mobile. At the end of day every life matters. If someone can be rescued within few minute of accident then it is big progress for everyone. It shouldn't be limited to any brand. Wake up

JLC, 31 Jan 2024I was not logged in. Now the answer under my own user name:... more"AOD"
As said, Apple made it look much better than others.
"Extracting subjects from picture"
Apple still has some originality, you just have to press and hold and drag to any messaging app to put as sticker. No need to go into the editor for that.
"Focus mode"
Well, they made it better than DND though...
"Portrait video"
Apple made it look much more realistic, not like those artificial blurs by Samsung.
"- Foreground blur in portrait photos
- Adding portrait effect afterwards
- Changing focus afterwards (goes back to Galaxy S5)
- Portrait photos"
Yes Samsung had that with the S5, but it was just far focus or near focus. Apple had many more options when they made 'Portrait' mode.
My point is that, Apple does put effort into reworking the 'copied' features from other brands.

justasmile, 30 Jan 2024For example which?I was not logged in. Now the answer under my own user name:
Are you ready? This list mentions just the relevant features into which Apple put too much marketing efforts:
- AOD, even the wallpapers on AOD were available back in 2016
- Widgets on lock screens (although everyone claims Apple did it first this has been available for years on Samsung)
- Interactive widgets (it is embarrassing to name this, but Apple needed ages to do this)
- Smart widgets (Stackable widgets): Samsung first, Apple copied, Google added it to Stock android
- Extracting subjects from picture (available for years in Gallery under the name Snap to shape)
- S Beam (transfer of contacts)
- Focus mode (the most shameless copy pretended to have been invented by Apple)
- Extracting text in keyboard via camera
- Foreground blur in portrait photos
- Adding portrait effect afterwards
- Changing focus afterwards (goes back to Galaxy S5)
- Portrait photos
- Portrait video
- Photographic styles (this is sooooooooooo old)
- Auto Frame (Center stage)
- Using own voice for Bixby/Siri
There are tons more smaller features, but the above should be enough. Some sound surprising to most people, but yes, Apple loves to copy Samsung.

These are sort of features that are incredibly useful and potentially be life saving, these should be mandatory feature on all flagship devices and hats off to samsung for possibly including it. If it does come to pass, they'll most likely bring it in some way to slightly older flagships if possible and possibly be released with higher A series too.

Plus, this works on all vehicles that someone can get hurt on like motorbikes, bicycles, ATVs, and more.
Even if its annoying and sometimes goes off when it shouldn't, id rather have a feature that tries to save my life when Im OK as opposed to not having it in the event that I do need it.

I highly doubt Samsung would do this.
Google introduced this stupid feature first.
Apple copied it because they think everything related to safety is their business, and if Google did it, they could not afford to do the same stupid thing.
Maybe Samsung thought after Google did it to develop something similar. But I don’t think they are going to do it.
Every new car in Europe is mandated to be equipped with real crash detection and SOS messaging. Carmakers like BMW or Citroen have been equipping their cars since 15 years or 10 years with this. Only the car can detect a real crash using tons of sensors. And the most important thing: it works with every driver and passenger: with or without a phone, and it does not send SOS when you are on a rollercoaster😁

While Apple does at least have some innovation into the designs or hardware of their 'copied' stuff from Android (like AOD), Samsung is like directly copying nearly everything Apple has.
I bet if Apple never existed beyond 2017, Samsung wouldn't even exist in the smartphone world now.
