The mobile division did better than most other divisions, though.

We're still talking about numbers of affected devices. I still ask for evidence to back up your claim. And you still refuse to do it. I think we're right on point.

" and my comments on it is based on factual self experience backed by all those registered samsung owners - in WHICH I stated here to simply google it up."
The weight of supplying evidence to back up a claim is on the shoulders of one making it.
I'll simplify it so it's easy for you to understand: it's your job to give that link to me, not mine to look for evidence you're trying to make. Got it? Talk about lazy in the same sentence, Christ almighty...

" But I see that you are so lazy on that research part and wanted more to spoon-feed you with links when WE all know the internet infos keeps on updating on this issue."
Yeah, that sentence. If it's so easy to find, why can't you find it and paste here? Feeling lazy?

"You just keep on commenting back bcoz you wanted to have the last word on this discussion thread. Why dont you just take a chill-pill or jump a bldg or whatever men - geesh. Talk about a real psycho here."
First of all, if I didn't have to ask for evidence six times, I wouldn't keep coming back - does this simple reality escape your teeny tiny bwain?
And secondly, It's the whole point of a discussion, isn't it? It's the definition of it. A point is met with a counterpoint in an exchange of arguments. Did you expect to have a monologue instead? What are you, five?

So, can we have a look at the official screen failure rates, or are you going to beat around the bush for the foreseeable future? Maybe 7th time's the charm.

still dumb some samsung fan still think Apple is their main rival. Its is not .
Every yearApple sold +200 milions iphone which in flagship price bracket.Every iphone was flagship.

Samsung sold < 30mil s series their flagship and plus 170 mil other mid- low end models.
high competition from chinese brand has caused galaxy s hard to sell for android flagship price territory .

That is a result of false assumption - you falsely assume, without evidence, that every panel is faulty therefore everyone has an issue. The rest of your gibberish is a direct result of this false assumption so naturally, when I have no issues, it must mean I lie that I even have the phone.
Whereas the only thing I try to achieve here is to show you that defects happen with every technology and statistics show exactly that. Statistics that you repeatedly fail to present, because the only ones out there would prove you wrong. I'm more concerned about people trying to find accurate information in these forums and you contribute in no positive way to it by producing fictional issue rates and running your blind Don Quixottery like Samsung killed all your cats.

"So Please - stop being a know-it-All, pretender and just comment to the proper forum - you are a combative nature person just want to Ill-Erk genuine people"
Stop talking biased, subjective nonsense based on dreams and assumptions, and I won't have to try and outbalance it with reasonable arguments and unbiased information. You'll even experience feeling of personal growth and satisfaction when you put effort into researching information and when your point of view changes as a result of that.

Well, if they continue to make ridiculous changes of course they'll lose sales. I used to buy the Ultra series because they looked and functioned great. My last Ultra was the S21 Ultra because the Ultras now look like bricks. They killed off the Note series only to change the Ultra back to the Note series..

And please explain to me - how exactly is this a screen "defect" if fixing it requires tweaking software? Not splitting hairs here, but it much rather seems like someone dropping a ball when baking in new Android release and just supplying wrong values for the two screen modes. Do you also return your Oppo or OnePlus because there's a bug that they'll fix in the next update?

There's defect, and then there's entitled moaning about anything that isn't absolute perfection, which historically has never been achieved in anything - why do you expect one now?

I tell you, IF you are a Samsung owner of any of the past S, A, M series with 6.7-inch or bigger - GOOGLE it up.

That is why, I along with other MANY THOUSANDS of EX-Loyal cusotmers - ARE NO LONGER!

And you still fail to present exact (or approximate) numbers of screen failures against number of sold devices. It's very important because that would let us judge whether we're looking at an ongoing manufacturing issue, or whether this is only market-standard technological offshoot, but because Samsung sold millions of devices, even that marginal offshoot translates to thousands, or tens of thousands affected people.
And I wouldn't really put a lot of weight to the class action lawsuits - it's like wearing socks up there in US, everyone's just doing it out of habit in hopes of getting a quick, easy buck, from the lawyer firms to opportunistic consumers. That's why hot coffee has to have warnings on cups - not because idiots don't know coffee is hot, water is wet and gravity tends to pull lighter objects towards much heavier ones, but because of such a class action lawsuit the first opportunistic vulture made millions out of.

Just google up 'green lines on Samsung screens' and you will see samsung members globally have filed complaints, and active civil suits against samsung.
With all these info I have posted, it is obvious that I am one of many thousands of unfortunate owners of this 'post-sale' mal-practice bcoz its only at official samsung service centers where this issue can be replace - which will make you cough up moe money.

This post is a way is related to Samsung results of financial decline - I would bet that many loyal samsung customers have already shared thier views of a shotty deceptive practice by Samsung on the quality defect -which we now all turned away from this brand.

Your comments ... moreGet a grip with reality - it's a manufacturing process which means there is no technological way to ensure 100% of products are fault free and while out-of-the-box situation can be controlled with quality control, after a year of use it's a different beast.
How many users exactly did experience this issue and per how many devices sold?
Have their warranty been respected and screens replaced?

The fact that the biggest premium smartphone component manufacturer is selling markedly less components to competitors is a pretty good indicator that influencer services like Canalsys and IDC aren't creating market numbers based on reality.

Your comments just prove to yourself the ill-gotten business scam practice SAMSUNG.ph, and SamSung - Main on not doing the right thing, in regards to owners getting 'green-lines' right after warranty expires and right after OS patch update.

In their own website - Samsung stated they sell these galaxy phones 'free of defects', but after a year this CRAP happens which force the owners to go to Samsung official service center to get the screen replace.

Samsung does not want to do the right thing here and wont admit this scam. They go against their own consumer pledge policy of stating free of defects, WHEN in Reality IT IS a quality defect \ HW or manufacturing defect that is bound to happen.

Another good example to compare them to any Auto Manufacturer, and when they make recalls on Air-bags, they do that voluntarily - It applies to this same notion too. We dont mess with that part of the car bcoz we all know its a vital, embeded part of it, so same goes with the screen, WE all dont mess with it as it is vital part of our usage.

That is KARMA hitting back on Samsung. Corruptious and schemy business post-sale practice - they still want to make more money off the buyers.

Get in to the 21st century. it is a mass minority that uses these things and not having them has nothing to do with Quality. BT headphones are everywhere and fairly cheap. Memory levels are higher and we have super fast WiFi so cloud storage is more economical point of view and IR blaster.....most things can now be controlled by smart phone. For all the points you mentioned, it represents huge material waste for a very small number of people that are not connected in the modern day.
