They said it was necessary for the larger camera sensors or something, but we all know they could have kept it vertical if they really wanted to. According to some rumours the vertical arrangement may be making a return at some point, but we’ll see…

I am surprised all of them still managed to sell more every year despite minimal changes. Imagine if we're free to install security updates without restrictions too. Just like Windows OS.

Personally, I like the iPhone 12 design even if it's years old. The only problem is the rear cameras placement that used to be vertical in 12, and diagonal since 13. I don't like that design at all, and for that reason, I'm out
