I'm finalising Oneplus 12 (Expending remaining money for RTX 4070 Super for my PC).
I'm avoiding vivo X100 pro due to two major reason. One is I didn't like Funtouch OS of vivo (I'm currently using 2021 vivo X60). Secondly vivo is offering only 3 years of OS update (which is a deal breaker for me).

1. You need an overall good value for money phone...u can buy OP
2. You need a good phone with good software, decent camera and good brand, go for s24+.... Or u can spend a few bucks n get the s24 ultra.. Thats a great great phone...
3. Other option is pixel 8 pro... Although it has heating issues, it's a great phone.. And u can't go wrong with its camera.
4. Although if only camera is your priority, then you can surely go for vivo x100 pro

Oppo and Oneplus for example only implemented hasselblad colours in manual mode on the last generation of flagship phones (Oneplus. 11 nnd Find x6). Not sure if that is still the same on the Oneplus 12 series and Find x7 series. I previously used an Oppo reno 10x zoom and the processing was definitely different in manual mode. There was far less noise removal for example when using the same shutter speed, ISO etc in manual mode compared to the photo/auto mode. I think it depends on the manufacturer

You can also select a payment plan(12/24/36 months), which also is interest-free, so there's that too. Where do they do it like you described, sounds a bit silly?

But the also had a good preorder price for the S24 series i gave 1072€ cash for the S24U.
My olan was to buy OP12 but bc of the S24U flat display i took this and have no regrets at all.

I don't like optical readers, I'm not interested in what they have advanced!! For this reason alone I would buy a Samsung S series again for the ultrasonic reader

The optical readers have gotten faily good over the years, and they work with tempered glass protectors so I don't count it as a big downside. I agree with the curved screen though, it's hard to get screen protectors that work with them.

Round and exceptional phone, the only fault is the curved panel and an optical fingerprint reader for the price they ask for!! I hope that for the next one that will be released at the end of this year, they take these 2 characteristics into account if they want to really compete.
