1. No battery inside is sad, but not swappable hurts.
2. Looks like you can only use "special" apple battery and connection, so we are back to custom from USB-c.

Lmao $200 for 35wh? These things are like $5,571.03 per kWh. You can get batteries for $100 per kWh.
So these are around 55x more expensive than other batteries.

Apple is made a product thats guaranteed to make the customer return. A proprietary external battery isnt needed in the slightest bit. $200 for that small of a battery is abuse of power. And whats worse is that people will still buy it.

Suschito, 01 Feb 2024Who in their right mind would spend 200$ for a 3000mha powe... moreBro did you read the article mAh is not a unit of energy energy is measured in Wh which this battery would be the equivalent of a 10000 mAh battery its still over priced as a good quality efficent battery pack can be $50 bht at 13v apple probably had to build an inhouse power circuit for it which makes sense as to why its not just a usb-c cable at the battery pack because its a non standard voltage for usb. I wonder also 13V 6A is 78W which many cheaper battery packs cant get even close to that
