I feel like the big increase in "others" is due to Apple. For whatever reason, wealthier people nearly universally gravitate to iPhones.

Xiaomi has an online store in 17 of the top 20 populous countries that's almost 65% of the world population. ( Iran, Congo and Ethiopia are missing) Releasing globally is difficult because you need to adapt your phone so it complies with local regulations. However brick and mortar shops and carriers are much more important than an online brand store. My country is not in the list but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13+ Pro is available on those channels.
    It's a pity that their high end phones are not released or have a staged release globally. The reason must be supply chain problems.

          shipped 146 millions device to fullfill the market demand .
          This is sign xiaomi achievement is in good shape compared
          with other android oem. This is evidence , people around the
          globe still want xiaomi product in their hand even not available
          in their country .They provide variety to consumer need .

          on the other hand .Samsung [the giant electronic] store available 150 countries across the globe
          and just only shipped 226 millions .This number alone not convinced that samsung are
          market leader . And their galaxy S23 series only
          15 - 17% [ 28 millions ] from total shipment last year .That shown the s series demand is week, most people
          dont bother about it .

            But i understand as much other regions with smaller density of people use more popular brands.

            I am from Slovakia tiny country in heart of Europe with just 5,5 millions of people from which like 600 000 lives in Capitol city like me and another 400 000 going to work here from neighbouring villages and towns.
            Here in Bratislava you will find repair shops and stores for like 50+ phone brands including even something like Oukitel, Doogee or Cubot but outside of main city smaller towns have just fewer shops with a fewer more popular brands than said 3.

                  You'll pay much more for your car and yet most people use their phone way more.

                  Just sold my vanilla S22 for almost 400 Euros (used for 21 months). Paid around 800 Euro for it new (with 24 month contract). So it cost me around 19 Euros a month.
                  My new S23 Ultra will of course cost a lot more, at least 35 Euros a month. But my car cost 350 Euros per month (2019 BMW i3) so basically it's very cheap if you ask me :)

Why do you say people will get to use their phone longer? My old One+ 1, Asus something with a huge battery and an old Nokia still work. Like old windows 7 computers still work etc.

                        Just an old IT guy trying to understand why kids are obsessed with operating systems instead of apps or hardware..

                          Accesories at comparable prce are more important to me. Like i said many times before all, any and every phone i had was on contract from my network carrier. I buy phones for 2 years and when its paid i get a new phone and sell my old device when it still have decent value and is i a brand new condition because i care for my devices.
                          Having phone with 5-7 or even 10 years of updates is a total waste. Hardware will not last that long and another issue after so many years nobody would buy such outdated device.
                          And even if tiny accident by a chance happens and your phone will work 10 years it will be so old it will take very long time to load even most basic apps like brownser, facebook, tik tok etc.

                          Lastly most of the people here in Europe are just like me buy whats suits them on contract and sell when they have chance. Noone have 1000+ to shed on a flagship.
                          For many people even 200 eur phone is very expensive and if they get it on contract paying like 5 or 10-15 euros a month for a contract is way to go for most.

So, in the end, would you rather have complete accessories when you buy a phone (but get very short os and security updates) or not get accessories out of the box, but get to use your phone longer?

                                      On Alliexpres, Ebay, Wish Teemu, Amazon i can find cases for as low as few cents.
                                      Genuine book case by Samsung for S series like S24 for example cost not less than 50 Vendor dependable.
