The market for sub $500 phones is huge. It's an obvious upgrade from the 1, while retaining most of the features of the 2.

To me all phones from all brands should come with a stock android.
Pure android experience withiout any kind of a bloatware and said UI regardless of a brand, nothing UI, Oxygen OS, Magic UI, MIUI or One UI etc should be an optional so on a first time setup every user can decide whether he wants a stock android phone or having some UI bloatware apps inside.
Cant understand people who want already great google chrome within their phone but Samsung UI comes with Samsung Brownser, Xiaomi MIUI comes with Xiaomi brownser, magic UI have Magic brownser .Litterary same thing like google chrome with base minimum of differences. But both apps doing the same.
In every UI filled and bloated phone there is like 20-50 more apps doing the same thing like ones already given by google.
So i really dont understand people why bragging for something tey already have there within phone usually much better. And even if they dont want they cant remove google apps. They can just turn them off but thats it. Said app will still ask for frequent updates and will turn on with major OS update anyway.
Cringe people lives around m but i am last to judge.
All i could and did is to present my point of view my iopinion.

Anonymous, 02 Feb 2024If stock Android was really better, than every Android phon... moreWell had my Xiaomi Mi 11 lite 5G for 2 years and was particulary happy with my phone but you know having several apps from Xiaomi which were there from google already is nothing just bloatware.
MIUI brownser for example to google chrome. Xiaomi alarm, clocks, calculator, notes etc.
Countless of apps which you already have preinstalled in your phone from google just hidden among other apps to show just the Xiaomi ones.
Same can be said about Samsung and many else other phones and brands.
I am a proud stock android fan.
Anything else if i really want i can just run the google play and install from there. Even said UIs. But honestly its a garbage. Its just eats disk space and ram. Stock android with just 4GB ram and something like SD695 for example is equally fast as Samsung or xiaomi phone with SD695 and a 8GB ram.
In case of stock android something like for example Motorola with 32GB disk space have lot of space for another apps for some people. Same thing for example Redmi 12C with just 32GB disk space or A04 by samsung will have half or more than half of disk space eaten by Android and UI after several updates of said UI and said preinstalled apps from your brand you will have no space for anything else.
Something like S23 ultra with android and samsung UI starts with 30GB less disk space due to UI. My Motorola Edge 40 pro with 256GB had only 11GB eaten by Android and base apps.
Well just sayin but suit your self friend.

The Pixel 3a was legendary and was the first of Google's 'a' series and sold for just $399 unlocked. I still think Nothing is a great alternative for Google Pixel mobile device users. Nothing's cameras are great too. The 6.7-inch screen is the only thing I don't love.

Of course stock has its fans but custom or stock is just a matter of preference. I personally prefer miui or one
