                              Minimum wage in Taiwan is $5.88, minimum wage in Arizona is $14.35 (more than 2.4x). Salary based math would be different, but the point is labor is much more expensive in the US. I suppose capex is the same anywhere in the world, so I think the only way they can be competitive is to limit output to US market only.
