And the fact is Oppo et al did leave the EU, meaning for them, the EU was not priority. Asia is one of the growth markets, as such they inked the deal because Nokia was going to bring the lawsuit to the region as well.

Would love to see Nokia phones too.
Youtube is full of super duper mega ber overspecced and beautifully designed Nokia phones for 2024 and later.
Wish they become reality.

Totally forgot about the fact they don't offer anything at the moment here. So with this agreement, they can come back on the market. Competition is good, more choices for the people looking for a new phone perhaps from a new brand for them.

The EU was optional, proven that they were ready to leave the market just like that.

Funny that vivo thinks that now, but didn't pay Nokia for a very long time..
