    If priced same as A2 3/32GB, I think it would be a big upgrade. That one is the cheapest phone available from a reputable brand at for example 69€ in EU most of the time nowadays. I‘m hopeful the G85 as SoC that some else mentioned is true.

I mean I remember seeing 0.3 on ... moreWell, 0.08mp is what the A1/+ and A2/+ have, and they are indeed rock bottom phones, but not just from Xiaomi, rather as a whole from any company ever. I sure hope the A3 at least switches to usb type-c, wow what a "gigantic upgrade" that would be.

                      That is the tiniest camera sensor I've ever seen in such a huge bump. Fairly sure it's not even a main camera plus a useless extra sensor, but actually just one sensor and a grey circle.

                      The design also looks an awful lot like the Lava Blaze 2 5G, with some rearrangement done to it.

                        Camera island reminds me of that medical mirror otolaryngologists use to wear on their heads 😁

                          Design wise for the sub 100 market this is top tier

                          But can it have UFS 2.2 instead of emmc that plagues the sub 100 market?

                          Will it have android GO or full android?

                          What is the processor? The unisoc T612 is great at this segment hopefully something similar or a bit better


                          The direct competitor to beat would be the realme note 50

                            For $75 they should have included an 8Gen2 and an IMX 989..😒

                                Oh look, another shovel.

                                  No use of that big circular camera bump if you're going to fill it with a weak 50MP main, paired with a 2MP macro or depth. It's just trying to copy the higher end smartphone designs, so there's no practicality here for such a big camera bump

                                        The G85 is supposed to be a SoC, a big upgrade from the joke G36 a rebranded Helio P35.
