so, what is the next choice?
iPads, of course.
no other OEM learned nothing in the past 10 years!
i am not Apple lover, this is just pure logic.

There's is no mention of Redmi/Xiaomi pad 😳...
Till now, Redmi pad has been best tab I have ever used.
iPad is very limiting, honor lacks features and sammy lacks in the SoC department in budget segment.

Let's be honest Tablets are like Phones only so much you can do with the design. Due to size the hardware while improving can never be like a PC due to the heat that would develop.

VR basically gives ''any'' inch tablet at 0g weight in hands. If it would come with quad hi res cameras, there would be no need for phones/foldables in the future either...

Even for me, I don't see the need to own an Android tablet after I started using Desktop Mode, alongside custom solutions like DeX, EMUI Desktop, and Screen+, on my smartphones. I connect my phone to an external screen with a cable, and I'm all good.

Gladly have my iPad Air 4th gen that completely replace my laptop that need to carry multiple things and heavy instead just all in 1 device, it’s iPads just good as laptop. Mostly for work and creative.

Android OS on tablets is way better than it used to ... moreThe biggest hurdle is Google itself, considering they have abandoned Android tablets twice already. 3rd party developers can only do so much when Google doesn't set the standard proper tablet features. OEMs can only do workarounds for their own devices. Google just doesn't care about Android tablets because they think ChromeOS is the answer.

Sure, they still have a long way to go to improve it, but the biggest hurdle is the app developers. And that's where I think AI is going to come into play. If the developers don't optimize the apps for larger screens, I bet Google integrates some AI in the Play Store and will do it for them.

Not stock, but not heavily full of crap, animatins, widgets etc ...
If it feels like using ipad, better using real ipad.
