Just wanted to mention that Juno for YouTube was created by the legendary developer of Apollo for Reddit. That app was absolutely amazing until it got shut down by Reddit due to Reddit's greed. I predict a similar thing for YouTube:
The official app will slowly cram more and more ads into the app where your field of view outside the video is just ads, but Juno won't do that because that degrades the experience mightily, and then YouTube will shut it down for "piracy."

I do not care about how much they eell and how expensive, the problem is that nobody needs it and the peope that will want it will just want it because it exists, and that alone is already big concern for future generations. Kids this days already have their brain fried by garbage internet apps and games. If this takes off, would be by by civilisation, hello zombieland. Probably the way the rich want the mass to be, no brain evolvement and easy to control.

I still don't think the 1st gen Vision Pro itself would be a success (despite VR will be a trend and subsequent generations could succeed), but in order for YouTube to not be challenged as the best online video sharing platform, they still have to make a Vision Pro app one day to keep their champ

English is the language most users speak so it makes sense to release to this audience first. Why are you so bothered if you're not interested in it? There's plenty of Quest 3 comment sections.

I would have expected them to take legal action to shut down an unofficial YouTube app (especially a paid one) like they did on the Windows Phone.

I do not care for Apple Vision Pro and I dislike the fact of Apple discriminating other regions of the globe and is only US only product.
Not only that but there are a lot of Spanish speaking folks who live in the US and only providing English as the only language available is another discriminatory thing.
As a teardown as shown us it’s purely made of plastic and unless you are extremely careful with the device … A repair will cost you dearly… As far as know apple care doesn’t do much.
So good luck for those who bought it.
