It is superior to Exynos (the efficiency, GPU, thermals and modem are all superior).

But that's why monopolies are bad. Since Qualcomm and TSMC have the monopoly on good modems and efficient manufacturing process, the competition cannot work properly.
Normally, the companies should compete against each other and in the end it brings the prices down for everyone, including you.
That's why desktop GOUs are expensive, because AMD struggles to compete with NVidia so Nvidia is free to price their GPUs very high (that was already the case before the crypto boom).

If you still went for Samsung despite Exynos then why would Samsung stop using it at it's cheaper for them??

Skip and waiting for S25 series

ISP, efficiency, modem ...

Not sure if it'll be the case this year with S8G3.

I hope they succeed. Not really for them but to keep some competition hence the innovation because we are coming on a peak in CPU or lithography I think.

The customer has the choice to apply a case or not. It's not like, a rule to always apply protection. I don't like to add extra bulk on an already oversized brick

Anonymous, 07 Feb 2024RIP logic lmao. Your comments make no senseAllow me to explain then: your choice to go caseless leaves the phone more vulnerable in case of a mishap, therefore your conscious choice to not secure it in any additional way is reason enough to expect you're smart enough to understand consequences of your choice and not blame the manufacturer for not building your slim and beautiful phone like a tank.
              Does that make more sense?

I have been using Exynos powered S series phones for several years now, because I have no choice. Not just no choice in terms of Exynos vs Snapdragon S series, but no choice in terms of small phones. So I value them more even if it's inferior to other phones or SoCs. I have been part of the "vocal 5%" sometimes but I still voted with my wallet for the small phone irrespective of the SoC it comes with.

Has all the marks of objectivity, right? I would go one step further and drop it on a sharp object, like axe's pointy blade end. Insure now or your phone won't last such a hit from 6 feet (!) high. Because we all throw our $1300 phone while using daily, right? It never falls from your reading height, no, 6 feet high is the average consumer book reading level (and we're all 6'10" at least).

What a laughably stupid commercial that people think is a genuine drop tests.
