same processor as galaxy a03. not bad if they optimize their system properly for specific chipset. it'll be usable in 3 years

Unisoc processor, 4GB/64GB option. From these specifications, it looks like 4 year old phone. Only good thing from the software side is that it comes with latest Android 14 out of the box. But not sure, if it will get any OS updates in future. These will sale only if it's priced between INR 10K-12K.

You gotta appreciate Samsung's honest marketing - "Galaxy A01 core", as in stripped to the core 😄 Really though, you can take away all the bells and whistles but IMO a phone should still have GPS and compass. I stuck with flip phones for years after smartphones came out because I never needed them. That is until I realized I could ditch my Garmin and get a cheap Android to double as phone + GPS. So yeah, in my book a phone minus GPS/ compass falls short.

If one looks at the details, it is understood that it is nothing but Moto E13 with Android 14 and few changes here and there.
Of course I love using E13. But then what is ten point in releasing same package with different name. Instead they should provide extended support to E13 itself.

If it's under $100, it's not a bad phone against the Redmi A3, Realme Note and some Transsion phones. This price is very sensitive to even $5 and $10 differences in this class.
