You must been from Africa, Asia or South America if you dont know.

Those probbably will not be that lucky. Maybe apart Saudi Arabia and few others exceptions.
But still 3 is more than enough.
Budget device will not last any longer. Midrangers with price tag between 400-600 could last 4-5 years but people from poor countries will not have the money to buy.
And 1000+ eur flagships are for minority of people.

Furkan, 11 Feb 2024I wish Xiaomi get 6 years software updatesFoe a phone that you just use for half of its support?

woah, the obviously fake render was fake and the render that has an actual physical model that was leaked was real? No way!

I can get S24 256GB for $615 without trade in or carrier plan.
Or $17 per month for 36 months.

OppoPlus 12 in my country is sold for $925.
            That too after $40 discount.
            Chinese brands very overpriced.

Noone or usually most people dont have 1500 in pockets for new phone.

Samsung says they'll have 7 years support and suddenly, they become pro-repair. 🤣

Then we'll see if there will still be spare parts for sale. Or if the cost of repair will be half the price of a brand new or used model of the same kind or from another brand.

Since when was that considere... moreNot a singular person, but that phone will definitely end up being passed to multiple people throughout its life cycle. Good that Samsung is going forward with long term software updates and with repairability improvements, now let's see for how long the spare parts will be available for purchasing.

Why only 5 years of software? Since when was that considered a small amount? If it wasn't for Google's and now Samsung's 7 year of updates trend, then 5 years would've been class-leading. And I still think it is better than the 7 years offered by the other two, since pretty much no one will use a phone for 7 years.

                                        5 years more than enough!!!
