Samsung Galaxy Book4 series laptops to launch in India this month

It's still very limited in playing games, so the galaxy book wins in that aspect. For video editing both are powerful there's really no winner here. But the MacBook wins for editing better when plugged in or unplugged, but not everyone is an avid video editor. But everyone loves video games. And the galaxy book has an Nvidia rtx 4070 or 4080. Which is powerful than an M2 max gpu by a large margin when gaming. For me I would go for a Razer blade 18 or a rog zephyrus g16. Those are way more powerful than both the galaxy book or MacBook pro. But in battery the MacBook pro is the best. Followed by the rog zephyrus g16 and a Dell XPS 17 plus and the galaxy book.

      Or go for Asus Zephyrus Duo if you don't game heavily on your laptop..It's got dual displays in an ergonomic way for less than the price of these laptops.. battery isn't gonna be great on either of these options for that you have to go for hp, Dell or MacBook but that being said these laptops on light usage can give 6-8 hours of SOT which is way more than enough. I don't see why one should care beyond that (I don't mind 4 hours either) you have got plug points wherever you are..Now if you use an Android device, don't go for a MacBook!! But if you use an iPhone, it depends, if you care about gaming or dual displays, go for the options that I gave. But if they are not important, then go for the MacBook (Air not the pro). Pro doesn't makes sense! Why would you go for it? Are you a performance freek in want a non gaming like laptop? Go for G14. If you don't want performance, MacBook Air it is..It's also lighter and more ergonomic than the pro!

          Nice to see. I'm surprised that they announced the Book 4 and didn't have the lineup available for pre-order immediately or within a week or two tops.

            India gets everything, i envy them really. They got google pixels, Galaxy Books, Apple Store, etc.

For work I'd say the book4 ultra is the jack of all trades (but doesn't really excel in anything) and Macbook Pro is all about battery life and sturdiness.

              +Best touch pad there is
              +Battery life and performance consistency unplugged
              +Durable and somewhat strong chassis
              +Screen resolution and color accuracy
              +Unmatched sound quality and decent volume
              +Shell is great and running typical Linux tools is a breeze
              -Storage and memory upgrades available only at the time of purchase, and they're VERY expensive
              -Way too few games are optimized, with several popular titles requiring developer tools to be played, with low performance and occasional crashes

              +Beautiful screen with preset color profile that makes it really stunning
              +Touch screen
              +By far the largest touch pad ever in a Windows laptop
              +Slim chassis and great portability considering all the hardware crammed inside
              +Storage is upgradeable, with 2 M.2 slots (1 used)
              +Balanced power profile is pretty quiet except for heavy workloads
              +It's Windows, runs pretty much any software effortlessly
              +Expected discounts for preorder
              -Somewhat fragile screen, requires some extra care while opening and closing the lid
              -Dedicated GPU with severe power limits may mislead gamers
              -RAM is not user upgradeable
              -MicroSD slot is nowhere as useful as a full size SD slot or maybe another USB port
              -Keyboard feel, key travel are not pleasant to type on
              -Battery time is much better than average considering it has a dedicated GPU, but still not great at all

                    Finally. Samsung announced them in December 2023, but so far only Book3 is on the website.
