This is definitely a step in the right direction, but I feel like most people who buy these phones will replace them once they get laggy, and the a35 in particular worries me because it’s using the same chip as the a54, which in gsmarena’s review they said felt a little sluggish and stuttered too often. The best thing Samsung can do for longevity in my opinion is to give these phones chips that will last a long time.

Let's see how the A55 is priced first. A35 seems okay, but we'll wait for that too.

I am East-North Europe and my F5 was 410 euro at first week of the phone being in my country shops. Second week the 8GB version went up to 429 euro. So basically it's where you set your region in the phone that you wont have ads. My last phone was also Xiaomi redmi note 5 AI that i ordered from Aliexpress and i had no ads with it

Calm down, that guy was more hating on Samsung and Apple than Xiaomi.

You would have known that if you read, they only stated facts about all brands.

Ads are in global version too btw, also not all of them can be turned off in all regions, unless you use ADB.

And I know because I sell phones for a living, and brands like Xiaomi and Realme are popular here due to their super low prices.

Xiaomi and Samsung (on budget phones) their ads in the OS are region based.

Poco X6 Pro doesn't have any ads at all in the OS in my country, yet I a friend of mine that lives in a different EU country does have them.

And none of these are the chinese version of the phone, but global.

Because they are region based, also the exact same phone is cheaper in his country than mine, because Xiaomi is much more popular there.

As for Samsung, I have only seen the ads in automatic app download, but only on phones below 250 US dollar in certain asian regions.
