        [deleted post]Tell that to Sony who put it back and keep it since the 2020 Xperia 1 Mk2. Don't forget that Sony did remove the headphone jack from their 2018 and 2019 flagship phones, even citing the rising trend of wireless audio. Sony could have easily continue doing so to this day, but alas common sense still wins the day. Even ASUS tried to do the same with the ROG Phone 3, but only to see it coming back on the ROG Phone 5 with added built-in ESS Saber DAC.

                It feels as if, CP is trying to push his Gyph gomkick as an innovation which everyone wants.
                It seems, Nothing has realised that nothing more can be done with the glyphs by them. So better push it to others and see how much it can be stretched to justify the ' back of an iPhone like design'. It will look like as if they are concerned about the users of glyph design.

                  [deleted post]Jokes on you, I still value it in 2024. I even completely stopped going wireless and now going all wired because of the Quad DAC on my LG V50. It literally obliterates every single wireless audio gear I ever used, and I don't even have a high quality wired headphone in the first place.

If that's what you think, then LG wouldn't gone all the trouble of putting Quad DAC on their flagship phones. And another thing, even the ESS Saber DAC on LG flagship phones are still on a higher tier than what you get on any portable DACs.

                      Would love to see how many devs are interested with this thing. Even a friend of mine who owns the Nothing Phone (2) starts to lose interest on the Glyph really fast. He's now more intrested with Nothing OS than the Glyph.

                        You may wonder why?
                        With headphone jack you can listen to high definition high quality lossless audio surround sound for a very long time whereas listening through usb-c or Bluetooth your battery will be depleted very fast.

                          Can you unlock the bootloader for acquiring root administrator rights to your own hardware?

                          Do they offer their stock firmware for download for patching boot.img in order to achieve root?

                          No? Then this is NOT a phone for developers.
