Anonymous, 14 Feb 2024Let's move to neuromotohic design, material is getting... moreI think a mixture of the two would be good. I'm annoyed that Google uses a relatively flat design with Material You, but I do like the big reliance on contrast, and I do like the responsive, fluid but detailed animation. I think Google needs to change material design to have elements of transparency, blur, shadows and depth, while keeping the heavy use of customisable contrast. I like the rounded corners as well, though neither design specifically promotes or restricts this.

Windows 11 has many flaws, mostly being in UX, but one thing it does do well is the transparency and blur. Not in the sense that that blur is fake (it blurs the wallpaper rather than what's actually behind it), but it looks uniform and gorgeous. I want to see a mix of material and neumorphic design, keeping the best parts respectively while not falling into the pitfalls that either design has.

Custom android versions have a feature since ages and it's called "hide apps"

After a decade, it's on stock android. Haha. Google is late

Because burn in doesn't happen on LCDs, retention does however on cheaper panels.

Sure outside I understand one would do that, but I know people that use full brightness even indoors and at night... just why.
