An excellent laptop with premium performance, long battery life, and good build quality for €1,399.

I've been using the 2022 version since 04/07/2022. Overall a solid laptop. Before purchasing, I tested this one (16gb i5-12450H) and the galaxy book2 (16gb i7-1255U). The Huawei was better in almost every aspect

For this price, needs 400 - 500 nits. You can definitely fit a larger battery into a 16" model, 80whr+ should be easily achievable considering most competitors do it. Number pads are a preference so I don't fault them for the off center keyboard and touchpad....I prefer centered without a numpad though.

A good read. Any chance you'd review the D14? £549 is more in the price range for some of us.

Don't see why you would buy the i9 version over the 16S. Much better screen and I managed to get the 16S for £1099, which is quite decent value. The i5 version is very good vakue, however.

Just wondering why Huawei chose integrated graphic card instead of giving it a dedicated one.

Concerning the review of the display, glossy is better than matte and the author seemingly has never seen a glossy display with anti-reflective coating. That is weird because to know that, he would have only needed to look at his phone. So on a phone Review website, the reviewer has never seen a phone. Otherwise he would not have come to such an illogical conclusion.

honestly whats the point of having the best processor but no graphics card/cheap display? its basically a waste of computing power tbh

Anonymous, 18 Feb 2024Highest end i9 but a display that just barely manages sRGB ... moreOh and it doesn’t even reach Retina-level resolution either. The display of the iPad 9 that has been bashed to death is better than this (retina resolution, 500 nits). And the display of the iPhone SE which has full P3 coverage, retina and 625 nits is much better.
