Really?, no way, that's the same date as my birthday! I'm so excited!!!

If it's cheaper than Redmi Note13 Pro+, it will be a good sell, if it's not, then it'll really depends on what it provides and how much it's more expensive than that.

Anonymous, 15 Feb 2024As it stands, with that SoC, it's not worth it to any ... moreThe SOC is fine. Benchmarks on other devices with the same chipset (Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+) put the chipset as being about as powerful as a snapdragon 865, which still holds up VERY well today. It's not the most powerful chipset, but it will get the job done well without much fuss.

As it stands, with that SoC, it's not worth it to any active user. It would have been better had it come with 6GB ram and a Dimensity 8300 as base model with possible upgrade to 8GB than what they came up with now. The Dimensity 7200 is just too weak for the job unless you don't mind waiting for everything all the time. Dimensity 8300 is the bare minimum I expect from any usable smartphone these days, Snapdragon 7+ gen 2 if you look at the competition albeit a tad slower (NOT the 7s gen2, that's mostly just a rebadged 778g from 3 years ago). It doesn't matter if it's cheaper if you end up being annoyed with it 24/7.

$399 is fine. The Pixel 8a will be more expensive. It can be a great alternative although obviously it will not stand a chance against Google cameras.

Doesn't mean anything if it's a personal / isolated issue with an individual unit though.

Not exactly "spoon fed" to ask someone to eleborate when they claim an entire brand has been problematic for them.
