      Cool factor is good but practical use worthless though this can be used as Billboards for Advertisement.

        Same can be said for iphone. People don't need to upgrade iPhone every year but still lots of them do. Apple creates a demand for new iPhone by showing people that the previous year iPhone is so much inferior than newer upcoming one.

            Interesting but useless.

              Imagine if Lenovo put this on a moto phone, add their rollable prototype, and under display camera, call it the moto Infinity, that would be the 10/10 phone and a day one purchase for me.

                This is the problem! Learn something good from greedy and rich company ( apple )
                Take it slow,ask yourself if people would need what you are about to produce, would they be willing to pay thousands of dollars if the product ia perfected ?
                This is the key,not just releasing anything just to be in the news,waste of resources

                    Love to see advancements in display tech like this, this gives me ‘The Expanse’ vibes! Probably still years away from it actually being a consumer product though

                          Work on the battery and smoothness. i can never go back to windows a macbook pro
                          For my use case, it is just awesome

                            Ok, but why? What's the utility? It's clearly just to show that it's possible and show off, but in reality, it'll probably not even reach shelves

                              Give us fanless, modular laptops. This has no usefulness to it whatsoever

                                -no one want phone without physical keyboard
                                -no one gonna watch movies on phones... they are for calling people!
                                -folding screen? you mean broken?
                                -under-display camera? you watch too much scifi movies?
                                -charging phone without cables? you just put it on a desk? say what?
                                -5inch screen for phone is too big!

                                This is a concept device made not only for attention but also show that people still can work on things that one day will be common. Also as most of that type of device, its not made for long heavy work.

                                Yes, right now it look weird and not secure as others can see what you are doing, but in the future they can use One-way mirror as a base, so other side will be mirror, or they will use diffuse layer that blur other side.
                                And keyboard? yeah some of us need mechanical feedback, but most of people use laptops and phones to watch media, or short messages, so flat digital keyboard with some good vibration feedback is enough...

                                  is it innovative yes.... is it useful problably not

                                    This is the perfect example of a solution looking for a problem.

                                      Better to buy folding laptop rather than with this concept.

                                        On a laptop, a transparent screen is going to get really gross, really quickly.
