They know what I want, hi res and plenty of it. More of competition for N3 is great.
Still, folds are lagging in hw behind standard design, not to mention VR is there too.
Maybe they should consider where they want to go...

Vivo's foldable market share was among the 4 lowest in China for '22 at 7.7%. Lenovo was the worst at 1.6%. Honor has already changed their fate with a million+ V2 sales. Vivo has to step it up and two UDP finger readers isn't going to do much.

"The Vivo X Fold 2 is one of the fanciest foldable Android smartphones that can only be gotten at via re-sellers such as TradingShenzhen outside China, and, as such, has never seemed to need a second, even more premium, variant."
Clearly an expression of doubt
The only quote imo relevant after a Google search for X Fold3
Purely a DCS I typed it so it must be true or now is "the truth"
If we ignore the above the inside track, BBK Electronics has informed DCS that [HIS FICTIONAL PRO] will get Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and an whopping 900 mAh increase (+ 18.75%) battery.
The X Fold2 is NOT battery endurance deficient comparred to other foldables, so what warrants such an increase, at the same time reducing weight***
The "REAL" X FOLD3 supposedly now copies Apple in using last year's Flagship SoC in effect no change there in 2024 , just replace 2 with 3 (no maths Darling)
All roads lead to DCS, he has reiterated, and re-emphasised his own fiction including the X Fold3 DROPS another 40g to match that of the Honor Magic V2. All he offers as evidence is his post. The "fictional" Pro will have the exact same dimensions
https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?&idPhone1=12383&idPhone2=12203&idPhone3=11460
In order for DCS fiction to make sense to me that is. For this you have to constantly make assumptions.
There simply isn't enough diversity in foldables to introduce any fragmentation in your own model. These new features are so so. (Not like Apple driving you to the top model.)
The comparison will be with other brands, you need to offer more within your own brand. In China only rather than Opt UP to get features, the will more like opt Out to another brand
There is no evidence, to support DCSi information provided so far indicates that the FOLD3 won't in actuality different to the FOLD2, so why launch it?
The 2 gullibles have already weighed in with RED LINE effort, single line sentences. Oooh

Hopefully they keep the standard model lightweight, and the Pro with flagship tier cameras.

Wouldn't be surprising if they keep the Fold3s China-only too. But maybe that's why they might release a pro and a non-pro model, maybe one of them it's leaving China....? 🤔
