    LazyEngineer, 26 Feb 2024All high-end Dell xps, HP Elite Book or Dragonfly still com... moreNew xps has soldered ram if you didn't know, there is limitation in sodimm which cant accept lpddr ram, to use socketed ram you have to downgrade ram speed to ddr, while laptop with dedicated gpu won't downgrade much with ddr, the one with igp like radeon 780M or new Xe graphics need lot of bandwidth from ram hence it's good using soldered one until Lpcamm mature.

    You are free to buy ddr5 one though if you don't need that extra perfomance.
