If there are 8 book folds on the market and 7 have a wide screen, why do we need 8 with a wide screen? Truth is, we don't. People prefer the Z because it is the most polished fold and Samsung is a brand they know and trust. Reverse the roles with any 7 of those folds and there wouldn't as much criticism.
However, I can still look at this objectively. 16 million foldable sales in '23. 100 mill projected by '30. Samsung has to make a calculated decision for the future.
I'm looking forward to the positives. The Z6 will be lighter, thinner, more durable and is rumored to have a bigger battery. The wider design may not be that bad once I hold it.

Question is will it comes with Armor class of GG Victus on main screen or it will be same useless garbage scratchable by nail where the thin plastic foil will peel of in first days of use making whole device even more useless.

Squared screens should seriously be a standard! Not even TV screens use the round corners anymore. No app or game is made for round corners.

A wider cover screen was long overdue due to that really narrow 23.1:9 aspect ratio, but squaring off the corners is stupid. Samsung has lost all sense.

Ohh I'm thinking of those white dummy photos of fold that was leaked back in aug2023(?). The photos consist of 2 types of fold, squared like the S Ultra and other with the current design(probably zfold6 FE). Both sporting the S-pen

Just adds complexity and potential break points (plastic folding screen) for no benefit. The Flip smartphones will eventually die that’s how bad the idea is.
