"38 megapixel photo should be more like 2 to 4 mb in size after the processing"

Well, tell this to people that are faithful. They might believe this miracle(2-4 MB size 38 MPix photo without loosing information).
My diploma thesis was about image compression algorithms btw.

You have no idea what you are talking about. You are at the level -1300 when we talk about technology and yet you are anxious to write down you lack of knowledge. Trying to prove your self in this manner just gives me the question mark: Dear God, how many are they? First of all, you do not need 300 gb in a phone. I have 16 in my n8 and never bought a mem card for it. It is always around 10 gb of free memory, and i never strolged to keep it free. If i need to store something, i store it to pc not in a freaquin phone. Second of all. The comic part that people are to simple to understand is that if the photo has a best quality it is smaller in storage size. You know why? Cause there are no artefacts inside the coding. So for your -1300 knowlege, a 38 megapixel photo should be more like 2 to 4 mb in size after the processing. Unlike iphone and other crapps that have more artefacts in there coding then the coding of the image it self. From 3 to 4mb photo at a 8mpx resolution? What is that? So, 32gb are more then enough for music photos videos and apps. Last thing? And the biggest: The pureview does not downsample anything. In fact, it combines the whole megapixels from the camera into an 8mpx,5mpx or 3mpx photo for the best quality without artefacts zoom and general coding. BUT, you can also SHOT 38 mpx photos. An option that rather will be used by people like me, and not by people like you.;). Now, get your facts straight, learn before you speak, and stop being a useless troll...

Or are they?

According to the leaks, the EOS will by without a microSD card on board. It will have either 32 or 64GB non-expandable storage. This is on top of the fact that the phone, at max settings 34MPix on 9/16 or 38 on 3/4 formats, will take an additional 5MPix picture for fast Internet upload. This is stupid, on Nex cameras the image processor down samples 16/24 MPix photos for wifi upload on the fly, without saving the smaller images on the memory card. And remember that WP has the "other" storage problem, not solved yet, and apparently not solvable by MS since they are busy with something else. So, I think this is another FLOP from Nokia.

When Lumia 920 was released in November, there were quad core/2GB Ram phones on the market. SSGS 3, Note 2, LG Optimus G, Asus PadFone 2, not to mention Tegra 3 phones.
When had Nokia a top notch CPU/GPU phone? Do you want quad core, 2 GB of Ram, 1080p screens? You won't find them soon on WP or from Nokia. Want a good camera on your phone? Wait for Sony Xperia Honami! Will arrive at approximately the same time as EOS, will have everything you need (quad core Snapdragon 800, 2 or more GB of RAM, 1080p "triluminous" screen, 20 MPix Exmor R II sensor-best sensor in the market, Bionz image processor-pulls 10fps at 24 MPix on Nex 7) including water and dust protection.

Strange, but quite frankly I have recently been checking out which Smartphone is the lightest and slimmest. I fancy that the one which is say 4-4.5 inch screen, 8-10 MP camera, slim, light and smart , will be the top seller. So far none has this attributes except, and here it is the " Alcatel Onetouch " *MP, HD , go check it out.

While, before the announcement of N8. There were rumors that it will be 12 MPX as later on the announcement, it was found out to be 12.1 MPX. That time, N8's pixels were shown as XX. This is a traditional sign of Nokia whenever they are going to announce a big cameraphone. They do the same.
